There are too many games missing from this list. However my favorite is Super Mario Brothers 3. It is the first game I played, first game I have defeated, and it is my favorite Mario game ever  . |

For me, it would have to be either 3, or Super Mario World. I've had more fond memories with World though, I've played it more, and I had more times with it as a kid. 3 I don't play so much, but tis' still great. The first one is good too.  |

And Ponterios has a point, Yoshi's Island was very good and was really dubbed Super Mario World 2 pretty much (Yoshi's Story on the other hand was bad, well not really bad, but extremely easy and way too short to be that memorable). But, within the choices I'd have to go with Super Mario Bros. 3. It's the most memorable, I grew up playing it, it has dozens upon dozens of different power ups compared to all other Mario games, it's long and challenging, and just a great game. Super Mario World comes very close, but because of the classic-ness-love in me, I pick SMB3. |

I'm pretty sure the 'true' SMB2 is actually the Lost Levels, which we got in Super Mario All-Stars, and SMB2 (US) was actually some weird game where you played as vegetables or something? Yeah, that's not a lesson to Tamarin, just for others ... in case you guys didn't know I guess.
