| Okay, the only rule is they have to be N64/PS or lower.
There have been alot of games ive played, but only a few have taken my life away for months. The first game that seriously did that was Legend of Dragoon. That game rocks, and is almost good enough to be one of the original PS2 launch titles (a low end one, but one nonethless). I remeber playing it for hours and hours each day, for about 10 hours a day. It was one of those you couldnt put down, if you were stuck, you were compelled to keep playing to get passed it all, especially around disc 2 and 3. The next game that stole alot of my time was the Warhammer game for the PS. It was just something about it that made me play it alot. I guess it was the fact it was the only RTS that was pretty good on the PS besides Command and Conquer. A current game that is sucking my life away is Tales of Phantasia. If you have played any of the Tales Of games you know why. These games rival the FF series in greatness without a doubt. Soon, ToP will be replaced with Tales Of Legendia on the PS2, but thats a different story really. So what games have sucked its life away? |

Everquest II. Ever since it's release last November it has turned my life from a young man who loves a variety of video games and turned him into a Wizard who must play Everquest II every day with his guild Stormcrow. My life has evolved!!! AAH!  |

| Ready for something you've heard 1,000 times?
Final Fantasy 7. I did every side quest. Got all the materia. Got every goddamned chocobo. Won all the races. So on..so on. On my first playthrough. I think i maxed out the clock. I was putting 10 hours a day into that damned game. I want to do it again. (On a side note..you have time to post this, but not reply in our fight? | Ocarina of Time took about one year to complete. Seriously. It was my first Zelda game, and I didn't play that often, which made the game harder.
I also spent a lot of time playing Diddy Kong Racing in the N64 days. It pwns Mario Kart 64. |

| I think some people missed the fact this is in Classic Gaming, and Everquest 2 and Galaxies werent really around when the PS and the N64 came out. Anyway, Super Mario RPG stole some time from me, but not alot. I liked the RPG stlye, but i liked Paper Mario better. I guess its becuase it looked nicer and more polished. There was this one Mario game on the Gameboy that sucked my life away, even though i could beat it in about 30 minutes without dying. I use to play it over and over again just becuase I could, lol. Oh, and 1 word: POKEMON!!! That game took like 3 years of my life from me. It was popular up until a little after the Gold and Silver versions came out, then everyone but little kids stopped liking it. I use to play for days and weeks just to raise one pokemon up to level 100 (becuase I never learned the glitch until about Gold/Silver came out). good times... | Ah, sorry I was thinking of gaming now and in the past. The game I spent most of my time on in the past was... Super Mario All-Stars and Donkey Kong Country series. No matter how often I beat the games I still enjoyed playing them .Also Super Metroid has used up a lot of my time, like I said before no matter how often I beat the game I just enjoy replaying it . |

| Morrowind for PC, I got it roughly 2 years ago. I'm still addicted. This game does count for a classic game because it's many years old, not quite 10 but somwhere between 5 and 7. Its bascially a classic RPG anyways.
I'm sure you guys can find posts of mine that rave about this game. |

| One of the most under rated old game (about as old as Morrowind) is Dungeon Siege. That game is one of the best RPG's I have ever played on a PC. Similiar to its competitor, NWN, Dungeon Siege is a open ended RPG where you can recurit people to help you on your quest, buy pack mules (or pack dinos thingys, they are cool and hold more). I bought the original and the expension, Legends of Ariana, and I must say I like Dungeon Siege over NWN. I guess its becuse the graphics are almost the same, but Dungeon Siege is more open ended and has larger enviroments over all. Oh, and also a ancient game (not that ancient, but graphic wise it looks old, probably a 98/99/00 game) is Rage Of Mage. It to was a RPG where you played as a Mage, trying to right the wrongs of this world and bring peace to it (or something, the story isnt the main point of the game really.). I love its multiplayer though, where you and your friends play on a giant open map, killing creatures (or each other) and raising your characters skills. Whats cool about it is the fact that you must level up enough for the next difficulty maps to open to you. You cant just jump into a Hard map and expect to survive. The spells were varied and each was different from the others, and the game play was good and solid. Many shy away from it becuase it looks old, but if you play it, you will love it. Rage of Mage 2 revives its predecesor with new graphics, spells, weapons, etc. I remeber noght when me and Shanan stayed up all night playing it. | Oh yeah, I can name a just a few games. A really big one I spent SOOOO much time with was Dragon Force for the Sega Saturn. After beating in once with my favorite character (I've beaten it a couple times before with other characters) I asked myself a question: "The highest level is 50, and yet the experience keeps going up to 65350 (or something). So is there a level 51 when you reach that many?"
Well, the best experience to get was by fighting the dragonmen. I usually got around 700 points each by defeating them. I fough over and over and over. I spent about 3 weeks or so playing. I must've accumulated more than 24 hours of total play time doing this. Finally one day I reached that amount of experience. Want to know what happened when I did. Get this: nothing. Absolutely nothing happened. But at least I can say I did it and warn other people who dare try the same thing. FF6 was another game I play again and again, often trying to get every character to reach level 99. Fun times with that. Super Smash Bros. Oh man. Talk about over playing. Literally, my friend and I would play this game for at least 6 hours almost EVERYDAY for nearly half a year. I can't belive how much we played that game. |

| OMG I have dungeon siege on my comp, I saw it and wanted to get it so I did. Anyway one game that took me away for many months and I still have and play, is Harvest Moon 64. That game is awsome, it sux at first but after you start growing and marring and getting extensions things really start to pick up. I've already had kids and they've grown up. That game was really addicting... And Mantagama, Mario Kart 64 so pwns Diddy Kong Racing, I played both of them... Another game that I would play for weeks at a time, was Pokemon Snap... It was fun... And of course, Pokemon Gold and Silver versions, those were fun, until I accidentally erased my game data, then I got bored of it... Just didn't want to do it all again. |

Work games that I can't mention because they aren't out yet are what takes away my time, energy, and life. Well, one game is being released soon, and I'll have my free copy of it in a few days, and my name is in the credits. They said I could talk about whatever is posted on the official website. So, I worked on Ultimate Spider-Man. That game has taken my life away, and I'll never have it back. Good game though. Can't talk about my current project assignment. Other than that, I'd say that GTA 1 & 2 took away my life before anything else. Maybe Pokemon. |

| I envy you Zabuza, you got a job making video gams already? Nice. Oh, the original Spider-Man game for the PS was really good, it captured the feel of being spidey so well. I played and replayed this game so many times its not even funny. I even found all the secret level areas in that game. Alpha Centauri. I played this strategy game for hours without end, and I still love it. The music is good, there is good voice acting, and the diploymacy is the best ever seen in a game. |
