| Programming:
- Visual Basic - took a class during Sophomore year. - C++ (starting to forget ... I took classes about half a year ago, and ever since I got out I haven't really been doing anything with it. All we did was Console Based Apps also, but still some neat stuff). - PHP - Kind of teaching myself, but very very slowly. Haven't done much besides messing with the AB code honestly. Markup, honestly these are things that you can just look at, and master in a few days in my opinion. I'm really not that much of a programmer (pulled C's and B's in most of my Programming classes) but as for Markup tag languages and classes, I've pulled like A+'s, they're too easy. - HTML, I've messed with templates, and a bunch of little things. - Coldfusion, some stuff here and there. - CSS I've been meaning to teach myself XML, just wish I could find the time. | In my IT class, Im going to learn Dream Weaver, HTML, Flash, etc. Im even going to try to be the first (and only) 17 year old student in my class (and even the district possibly, or even the state) To hold both the CIW (Certified Internet Webmaster) and the A+ certifications. So far, only about 4 people got CIW in the programs entire life, and only 1 has gotten the A+ certification in the programs lifetime. Ill finally be able to get a real job, and help Xeo with work on the board (woop woop). The tests come next semester or somethin, and I cant wait.
New list I have worked with: Blitz Adobe Pagemaker (it has its own code system, similia to blitz, but you cant leave ANYTHING to the program to decide. Basics in Frontpage Basics in Flash Basics in Dream Weaver Alot of those Basics are like first day things. lol |

| I would've learned a lot of HTML, XHTML, XML, PHP, and even SQL now if I would have stayed in my Web Design classes, but I decided to go into Game Design.
Still though, I'm learning a few things on the side here and there.
You'll like Dream Weaver Desroth. Think of it as this way, if you've used Frontpage, Frontpage is like Windows Paint, and Dream Weaver is PhotoShop, you'll never want to go back. I never learned much in Flash, other than how to make simple rollover buttons, and nothing else. But I've seen some very nice Flash sites out there (Deus Ex Invisible War main site - good example). XML I know how to read PHP and Java a little, but that's it. I never got into learning anything beyond those two. I tried getting into PHP, but having to download some...thing or whatever just to even learn it caused me to lose interest pretty fast. However, if I ever do learn PHP I know pretty well that I'd be able to create some really good things with it. |
