BEFORE The tournament begins, there is one small deed I must see to.

Me and Sparda have been long time rivals, and now after years of perfection and training, its time to see who is the truely greatest warrior on these forums.

::Leon stands in the shadows of a baron desert. It is night fall, and the moon is in full glow, shineing onto all of the sand. Awaiting his foe, Leon can be seen floating mid air adrift with his arms and legs cross'd, waiting in desire for his opponent to arive::

Note: I am still retired and I still do not accept challenges. I am simply agreeing to this fight because 1) I could use the fun and 2) I owe Leon this match. As for Leon, you shall see that my character profile will be fully updated for your viewing pleasure by the time I make my next post.
With that being said, let's relax and have some fun.

Each grain of sand upon the baron desert, the ones that refused to be covered in darkness and shadow, sparkled in the radiant glow that the moon gave off, making the arena resemble that of a paradise if only for a second. All was quiet and calm, both on the ground and up above as if the forces of nature held their breath, knowing that something most dangerous and peculiar was about to ensue. However, what started as a peaceful silence slowly revealed itself to be an eerie and nerve-racking quiet for something in the air drastically changed for the worse. As if commanded by some greater force, the once loving moon seemed to hesitate as its generous glow became nothing more than a dim candle in the night sky.

Something was coming, something unlike anything ever seen upon the realm which had once peacefully rested on the blue planet. A small wind blew in from the direction of northeast, stirring the light colored sand from its peaceful rest. To a mere human or one with an untrained mind, it would be nothing more than a small gale, blowing at the still desert. But to those who have come in contact with him before, they knew that this small wind was not something to merely shrug off.

All of a sudden, without any warning or apparent hesitation, the moon suddenly went dark as if a malevolent force put out the only source of light available in that otherwise cold and dark place. But it was rather unusual; there were no clouds in sight before nor any massive creatures of that nature. What could have possibly been the cause of this strange phenomenon? What strange power or being could be capable of actually blacking out the moon which rested thousands upon thousands of miles from the Human Realm and Planet of Water?

But then, almost as quickly as the 'candle in the sky' was put out, the glow returned to the battle field. Yet, something was new, now that the desert could be seen more clearly. Was that menacing yet magnificent double edged sword thrusted into the sand there before? No...it couldn't have been there before. The desert was empty with the exception of Leon and the caress of the moon. Yet, there it was, a magnificent sword thrusted deep into the sands of the desert. The part of the edge that had not been covered by the sand gave off an eerie glow.

It was at this point that a great yet beautiful cloak appeared in the night sky, matching the great darkness of the shadows perfectly, slowly drifted onto the thick handle of the sword, causing its flaps to cover what could be seen of that menacing blade. Leon knew what this sword was and who it belonged to. He had seen it multiple times and had felt its seemingly cold and warm blade cut into his skin and flesh. Finally, he made his entrance. A pair of amateur eyes would not be able to see anything at first for he walked within the shadows as he and the darkness were one. Yet, after several seconds passed, a figure took shape, emerging from the blackness that was refused by the rays of the moon.

His black boots softly dug into the sand as he continued his even pace forward, into the light. Now it was quite obvious why it had been so difficult to see him earlier for he dressed as if he were a mere shadow himself. His black mithril chain mail, now in the presence of light, seemed to sparkle, revealing the authenticity of its material. His hands were shoved into the deep pockets of his thick black leather pants. With his head bowed, almost as if he were deep in contemplation and thought, he made his way up to the black cloak and the massive sword. Slowly, he looked up, running his slender right hand through his black spiked hair. His dark brown eyes reflected the moon, giving them an eerie glow as well.

He looked solemnly at Leon for a moment before a small grin appeared on his face. At last, he spoke in that deep voice that could only belong to one man...

"A dragon...cannot be without its wings."

And with those words, he took the cloak that was before him, swung it over his shoulders and fastened to his neck so that the cloak itself now covered his attire, chain mail and pants. Now, he truly looked as if he belonged to the darkness.

"Nor can it be without its claws."

With a swift motion, he reached his right hand forward and pulled out the great blade which rested in the sand as if it were the legendary Excalibur itself. The blade made a soft ringing noise as it was freed of its temporary sheath and in the hands of its one and true master. Amazingly, the sword was a rather large , not only in length but also in width for it extended nearly five feet in length and the widest part of the blade measured almost a foot. Yet, despite its size, this man handled the sword with incredible ease as if it couldn't weigh more than a mere twig off of the branch of an oak tree.

Another soft wind blew from the northeast, running through his hair and blowing at his black cloak. It was him alright. There could be no mistake. Yet, there was something new and unusual about him. He had been absent from the world for so long...who knew what he was or wasn't capable of now? But all would become apparent eventually.

"You know...I once knew you as the Grim Reaper of the battlefield. And now you are a demon king."

He held up his great sword so that its sharp tip pointed at Leon, floating midair.

"You think you're capable of sending one more soul to the depths of hell?"

With a flick of his wrist and some quick motions with his fingers, the sword made a perfect 360 degree rotation in his hand. Yet, the rotation was so quick, it was only possible to see a mere blur forming the shape of a circle . When it stopped, it was still pointing at Leon.

"Or will you be the first demon to have to actually suffer that which you were born from?"

Please excuse any grammar mistakes. I haven't done this in a while.

::Leon opened his eyes to reveal the pale green glow that had been the last thing many had seen before their desent into the pits of darkness::

"Its been a long time since I was mearly the Grim Reaper, time evolves us all my friend."

::Leon stopped his mid air drift and landed softly on the desert floor, the sand underneath his feet curling as if a child in its mothers arms. He then reached his right arm out, grasping the edge of his black coat and pulling it free from his back, and flinging it over his shoulder, the smug look that had made him so infamous showing itself once more::

"You and I have a long history my friend, one that no record books could ever fathum"

::Leon threw his coat into the air behind him, the calm breeze opening it up as if it were wings of a black angel, before it faded into the shadows of the night sky. Leon looked at Sparda with an eager look on his face, such as that of a small child in a brand new candy store. With a quick turn in air, Leon drew both his twim swords from his back, the slinder swords that represented almost everything that Leon himself stood for. The moon reflected off of the butterfly's blade and back into the sky, a memorable sight for all to see::

"Now its time to write that final chapter in our story, two legends of all three worlds, finally faceing off for the last time"

::Leon dropped his hands to his sides and stared at Sparda with a smile and a grin::

A low chuckle escaped his lips as the man Leon identified as Sparda slowly lowered his weapon. Though he was in the presence of a supernatural being boasting great powers, Sparda seemed unusually relaxed and laid back, almost as if he weren't the least bit worried about the outcome of the battle. The baron desert seemed to echo his chuckle as he took a step back, his dark brown eyes never leaving Leon's pale green eyes.

With absolutely no rush, he lifted his head so that his eyes met the massive white sphere in the black sky that was the moon. As if whispering silently to this once powerful comet, his lips formed words but no sound came out. Then, another strange phenomenon occured, one that could not be so easily ignored.

What was once an absolutely clear sky suddenly became blanketed by a massive sheet of dark clouds which seemed to appear out of nowhere. After all, there were no clouds to speak of for miles around when Sparda had first arrived. But now, upon the once blue sky, there seemed to be nothing but clouds, rejecting the moon's loving gaze to the earth below.

Another low chuckle escaped Sparda's lips as slowly lowered himself, digging his slender left hand into the sand, grabbing a handful. The grin on his face grew wider as he held out his great weapon and poured the sand over its menacing blade, which somehow managed to maintain its eerie glow, even after the moon's light was blocked out by the clouds.

After each grain of sand escaped the grasp of his left hand and onto the mighty blade, Sparda held his sword up high, its tip pointing to the clouds. With a single swift motion, nearly undetectable by the untrained eye, he brought it down in a single swift vertical slash. The speed and the force of his execution was so great and perfect, it literally caused the sand to part like the Sea of Reed* until it reached Leon's feet where it stopped almost as quickly as it had occured.

He ran his left hand through his spiked hair once more, allowing another gentle breeze to kiss his scalp before he finally lowered his left arm. His once calm and gentle brown eyes turned themselves into eyes of the purest determination and focus. Though it may not seem like it, his mind was already in the deepest of concentrations, channeling his psychic energy throughout his body. Taking a single step foward with his left leg, he stood still in a bracing stance, his left side and arm facing that of his deadly opponent while his grip on his treasured sword slightly tightened.

Leon knew very well that this was Sparda's simple yet effective swordplay stance. As vulnerable as it may seem, opponent's often foolishly charge forward, thinking that they will land an easy hit upon this unusual man. Yet, they have always been sorely disappointed, most of them often paying the ultimate price for their ignorance. His grin became a truly menacing one as the eerie glow being emitted from his sword slowly died out. Now, it was nearly impossible to see Sparda perfectly midst all this darkness.

"I hope you like the rain."

The sound of thunder roared throughout the wasteland that was the desert as little droplets of rain fell from the sky.

"Sounds like a storm's brewing."

In a rather short amount of time, the storm greatly increased in ferocity. What started out as little droplets became massive onslaughts of the planet's teardrops. A thunderbolt shot down from the heavens and onto the earth not so far away.

"And I wouldn't want you to get a cold."

*Contrary to popular belief, Moses did not part the Red Sea but the Sea of Reed

::Leon LOoked up at the sky eyes still closed, as the rain came down. The drastic decrease in tempriture caused the rain to steam on Leon's head as he stared into the black of the sky::

"For once, and only once, I feel at true peace faceing you in the battle"

::Leon's head came down to meet Sparda's, his eyes shot open and the once gentle pale green had been over come by the fear'd destructive Blood red. Leon let out a chuckle of his own as his Demonic energy could be seen behind him, parting the sands under his feet::

Lets begin this battle shall we my friend

::In one solid motion, Leon sent his foot straight into the air, sending a small harmless shockwave through the sand, seperateing the now cold and life-less dust in two halfs, and below was a never ending pit of darkness::

LETS GO

::Leon jumpped high into the air after the attack and spun both swords around his hand, sliceing the air once with each blade. Sending a much more harmful shockwave flying at Sparda, a blade of pure darkness that Sparda knew all to well::

Black Sabre's

Black Sabre's - Leon sends his demon energy to the blades of his butterfly swords and slices twice into the air, sending two blades of destruction into the calm with the strength to cut through the most powerful known substances

The skies began to increase in the frequency of the unleashing of its thunderbolts as the amount of rain that poured from the black skies also drastically increased. It was now quite obvious that this storm, if that's what it could even be called, was not a creation of Mother Nature's. However, whatever doubts Leon or anyone else may have had about the storm's purpose, would be immediately dispelled as the thunderbolts became more and more concentrated on Sparda himself, their destructive forces aiming closer and closer to this unusual warrior.

Though it was very dark, except for the occasional light given off by the lightning, it was not very difficult for Sparda to know what was coming at him. After all, how could one dress and fight in the darkness, if one didn't even know how to? Sensing the two shockwaves erupting from the force of Leon's slashing sabres, Sparda immediately concocted a plan, not only to disrupt the shockwaves but to also leave Leon vulnerable.

It was quite common knowledge that a shockwave could only be 'dispelled' by one thing: another shockwave. Though Sparda could have easily used his psychic powers to negate the force of the shockwave or lessen its impact, he decided not to, wishing to use this power for another purpose later on in this fight. Therefore, since he was already positioned in the proper stance with his sword already prepared, he took a great step forward, bringing his great sword down in a massive diagonal slash from right to left.

Usually, he would not risk such a massive step since this meant increasing the risk of parrying counters from his opponent. However, since the shockwaves were not moving at an obvious great speed, there was no need to worry. Like his previous 'play' slash against the sand, his diagonal sword swipe was 'perfect' in momentum, precision, accuracy, with just the right touch of strength. Such form in his slash allowed the formation of massive shockwave, larger than both of Leon's shockwaves combined, traveling at a greater speed. Since it traveled diagonally, much like a disc, and since the two dark shockwaves did not seem capable of seperating from their present locations, Sparda's own great shockwave easily overcame Leon's, the impact of the three shockwaves causing a moderate explosion, giving off a small amount of light, if only temporary.

Luckily for him, Sparda's shockwave traveled twice as fast as Leon's shockwaves. Therefore, when the three shockwaves collided, it was at a distance that prevented the explosion from touching him. However, the light that was given off by the small explosion also slightly revealed Leon's opponent's next actions for before the light could die off and the explosion quenched by the rain, there was still enough lumination to tell that Sparda was already in the process of another sword swipe, though he was at a considerable distance from his opponent, even for the length of his great sword.

This was very true for as the explosion died down, Sparda had already completed his second perfectly executed slash, having spun clockwise in a mere blur, using the momentum to give life to his next perfectly horizontal slash. However, since the distance between him and Leon was too great for a melee strike, this horizontal slash obviously had other purposes which suddenly became apparent as the great eye at the center of the sword began to vibrate menacingly along with the blade of the weapon.

It was clear. With the second sword slash, the Song of the Chaotic had been executed. Upon the unleashing of this attack, even the earth and the skies seemed to be greatly disturbed for Mother Nature shook the mighty planet as if crying out in pain from the screech while thunderbolts shot out in unusual angles, as if tormented by Eva's scream of agony.

Song of the Chaotic- Using the Deathsword’s eye of Chaos, Sparda creates a screech like none other heard on the face of the universe by means of causing the entire sword to vibrate. The vibration is said to trigger a chain reaction in the eye that causes certain chemicals to be released throughout the blade, causing the ringing of the vibrating blade to be increased one hundred fold. This screech is deadly due to the fact that its frequency, pitch, and volume is tuned to such unbearable and deadly levels, it could very easily destroy any and all sense of hearing in a normal mortal. Because of its incredibly tuned properties, it is also capable of penetrating barriers and shields the same way high pitched sounds can crack and break mirrors when tuned just right. This useful technique is not meant to damage the opponent excessively. Rather, it is used to destroy any existing shields/barriers as well as temporarily paralyze and disable the opponent, allowing Sparda use this moment to lay down a finishing move. If the opponent is in possession of enhanced hearing of any sort, this move will most often cripple the opponent to a point where they will be unable to even move their muscles since their enhanced hearing sensors, which are often directly connected to the brain, will received the soundwaves of the screech, processing it directly to the brain, causing it to malfunction. Often, this can be the case with other opponents as well, even if they are not in possession of enhanced hearing though the immobilization of the body is less frequent. However, when targeted against a normal opponent with no enhanced hearing, this technique will often temporarily cripple the opponent, sometimes causing temporary paralysis.
This technique can also crack or even destroy weapons that are not enchanted by magic of some sort or enchanted by other means. The Deathsword itself, however, is unaffected due to the ‘plasma’ substance it produces in its veins (explained fully in Sparda’s character profile). [In terms of simbattle, this move, if it works successfully against an opponent, lasts for exactly two turns (not counting the turn in which Sparda used to unleash this move). It will be fully deactivated at the end of Sparda’s turn, the one after he used to unleash Song of the Chaotic. For inquiries on why Sparda is unaffected by this screech or other information, please PM him. Omission of this information is not due to its unavailability but rather to conceal its weakness to other simbattlers who are not fighting Sparda but plan to use the weakness of this attack to their own benefit in later battles, if such an occasion arises.]

((MY ACCUAL POST))

::Leon quickly brought both hands to his ears to attempt and cover the sound out. His attempts were as successful as his last attack, as the screeching sound tore through his ear drums. However, due to the demonic presence of his ancient swords, nither one of them took any damage, and in fact began singging along with eva, only in a more melodic tune that due to the closeness to his ears, helped several fold to shorten the harsh Pitch into Leon's ears::

A........Nice Tri....ck My......Friend

::Leon gaspped as his ears rang, even with Med and Loy's help, the screech of Sparda's deathsword was still more then Leon's demon ears could handle::

((sorry about the last post that WAS here, don't knwo how it got here. and no, Leon does not have to advanced hearing))

Off:

Say what? It's 'easy' to counter a sound attack? First of all, this sound attack will expand throughout the entire arena. Therefore, it's pretty pointless to dodge unless you managed to break the sound barrier...which you didn't. Second, saying that your 'face and body tightened up as if hearing a metal claw scraping across a chalk board' isn't going to cut it through this attack since I clearly stated what will happen to anyone who is affected by this screeching unless they have some really good reason as to justifying the negation of the sound in their ears and mind. Now I don't know if you Leon has advanced or enhanced hearing or not.

If he does, then your last reply would make even less sense. But let's pretend he didn't. This screech is still capable of literally destroying every single blessed nerve cell in your demon brain. According to your last post, you basically allowed my technique to fry, not only your sensor neurons but also your motor and your interneurons...along with your cerebrum and cerebellum. Trust me, this technique is more than just a 'metal claw scraping across a chalk board'. Take the sound that makes and amplify it 10000 fold and that's what the screech is like.

Second, you didn't make a valid justification as to why your weapons are still intact and even in your unholy hands. First sentence of the second paragraph of my description. It clearly states that your weaponry will literally crack into pieces if they are not enchanted in anyway. Now I don't know about your black sabers but as of yet, you have failed to say that they are in fact enchanted by magic.

Third...since when was Sparda a her?! "Leon brought both swords down toward her". O_o I dunno...did Sparda undergo a sex change or are you just thinking of your wife too much? Dude, leave your marital issues out of this fight or else I might find you taking out a baseball bat next threatening to beat the shit out of me cause I forgot to iron your clothes.

*cough*

Anyways. You told me to give it my all. Well I am. In simbattle and out. =P And I will continue to unleash the full fury of my technical paragraphs everytime you do something like that.

While Mika and Benja divulged on exchanging their self-indulgence's to each other, Hayato, the Modest Revo, had been standing there silently, unnoticed by all.

Reaching into his pocket, Hayato pulled out a archaic-like pocket watch that ticked lucidly with a nostalgic ambience. Having been outside of his pockey, the pocket watch ticked louder and alerted the cossetting couple that they were not alone, however in a frank manner, the couple simply turned their heads and focused on coddling each other again.

Having seen what the hour was, Hayato discarded his pocket watch back into his pocket and continued watching the fight.

As Leon barely managed to mutter a few words to his opponent, Sparda immediately took advantage of his situation. It was very well known that Sparda never wasted time when an opportune moment was presented to him, especially if it was on a silver platter. Dialogue and certain amounts of patience in specific areas were things that simply could not be tolerated, especially when in combat. This, Sparda knew well...perhaps too well.

It would be next to impossible for Leon to even begin to sense where Sparda could be for though his demonic eyes could probably pick him out from the darkness in a matter of seconds, the fact that the screech was still mercilessly pounding against his ears would make it much more difficult. After all...what was the point of punching if one couldn't even move his legs? This was certainly the same situation Leon was in and Sparda could see this very well.

Using his powerful legs, he dashed to Leon's right side, without making a single noise in the sand, though it wouldn't have made a difference for the screech was still ungoing. When he was in position, which hardly took 2 seconds, he brought his great sword down once more in a right to left diagonal slash with such force, it not only caused the sand to part once more, but it also send another massive shockwave at Leon, more deadly than the first in that it was much faster and seemed to possess much penetrating capabilities.

The moment this was done, Sparda, guided by his power of levitation through telekinesis, jumped high into the air and became airborne, without the aid of wings. He was at a slant from Leon's position, being several feet away from Leon's direct spot under him. While in the air, Sparda executed another slash, with even deadlier side effects to it as an even greater shockwave was launched at Leon with an equal speed to the previous shockwave, meaning it was traveling at an extremely fast rate (50 ft per second to be exact), though Sparda was more than capable of making them go at much faster speeds. Nevertheless, in Leon's condition, such executions would more than suffice.

The concept was simple, even an amateur could understand it. The first shockwave was meant as a neutralizer, acting as a barrier/shield breaker should Leon could somehow muster the strength to create one followed closely by another shockwave, stronger in power than the first, but traveling at the same speed as the other shockwave. It only took about one full second for Sparda to became airborne and another second for him to execute his move. Therefore, there would only be a two second difference between the impact of the first shockwave and the impact of the second shockwave, which would act as the 'finisher' move since the first shockwave would most likely neutralize any sort of defense Leon may have.

Taking the power and strength of the second shockwave into one's mind, it would not be unnatural or not at all unusual to immediately predict (without any possibility of failure) that it would be enough to rip to opponent to shreds, regardless of armor or skin durability due to the aid of the first attack. As an added effect, the Song of the Chaotic was still in play, making it even harder still for Leon to even act. If he couldn't act before...how could he now? It was logically impossible.

Of course, it was possible for Leon to unleash some sort of last desperation attack in hopes of hitting Sparda no matter where he was. However, Sparda was prepared for this for during the entirety of the fight, he had never closed the distance between him and Leon. Therefore, he was still standing at approximately 50 feet away from Leon. Any attack unleashed by his opponent would not leave him surprised the least.

::As the two shockwaves grew closer to Leon, his trade mark smirk returned to his face as the energy around him began to seperate not only the air around bhim, but it caused a tremendous decrease in Sparda's song. Leaveing Leon once again with full movement and attacking speed::

My Friend, you underestimated me, I didn't expect that from you

::Leon spoke as he lept high into the air, both shockwaves flying underneath him an instant later. Leon crossed his swords together and flung them into a reverse holding position, at the same time, allowing a tremendous amout of teh energy he had gathered to gather in his blades once more, however this time it was different, the entire blade shined a horrific dark purple color, and with his eyes now fixed on Sparda once more, Leon flung his body in what seemed like a single 360 degree turn, but in accuallity Leon spun himself around three times and much as his attack before Leon launched the Black Sabre's once again, only this time he used a drafting approach and sent not only the original two shockwaves at Sparda, but due to the other two rotations four more followed and much as Sparda's attack before, the first set were slow moving, but only ment as a warrning to shields and armor. The second two would arrive at twice the speed of the first two due to the draft behind them. Finally the final two would arrive four times faster then the first two, allowing the final two sabre's not only tremendous speed, but agile cutting ability that could rival even a God's sword and power::

Off..again. At least this time, it was you who posted.

Anyway, time for another verbal beating.

*coughs*

First of all, you are not Japanese. There is no blessed way in heaven, earth, or hell that you could have said "My friend, you underestimated me, I didn't expect that from you" in less than 3 seconds. Now why do I say 3 seconds? Why not 4 or 5? It's simple. I clearly stated how far I was from you: approximately 50 feet. And I also very clearly stated that the shockwaves travel 50 feet per second. Don't remember that? I suggest you reread my post. Again.

It doesn't matter whether you managed to stop my screech. It still doesn't take away from the damn fact that by the time you have finished saying "My friend", the first shockwave will hit you dead on, with a 0.000000000000000000000000000000001% chance of it missing you. Why is that? Because it is not only diagonal, but it travels faster than you can talk. Plus, you made it extraordinarily apparent that you leapt after you spoke. Therefore, avoiding shockwave #1 is already out of the damn question.

However, it's only fair that I keep in mind that I clearly stated only the second shockwave would be enough to kill you. Heh. So I guess only the first shockwave hit you huh? WRONG! Why is that? I launched the second shockwave from you from ABOVE. Granted, i was not directly above you, but I clearly stated that I was very close to it. I also made it still very apparent that I was 50 feet away from you and that my shockwave still traveled at that very same speed of 50fps. I also clearly stated that there would be a two second lag impact from the shockwave because of the time it took me to unleash it.

But now, the fact of the matter is, the second shockwave is being launched at you from a slant and from above. And because you added in dialogue, you wasted time speaking. I won't be ridiculous as to say you wasted 10 seconds on it. But you certainly wasted at least 3 which is enough since by that time, both shockwaves would have struck you dead on. Alright, what if you did manage to leap 'high into the air' after the first shockwave? It still doesn't take away from the fact that you are still JUMPING INTO the second shockwave. And to make it worse, it's going to hit your head, dead on, which instantly kill you because I have yet to meet a single person who can fight without his head.

So here's the thing.

According to your post...

you either

1) Got hit by both shockwaves while you were on the ground. THe first shockwave totally broke through any defenses you may have mustered, unless it's a ridiculously good reason (why do I say this? The power and the speed of the shockwave combined is more than enough to penetrate most barriers and shields). The second shockwave from above will most likely tear your body into pieces.

OR

2) You got hit by the first shockwave (see above) but still managed to jump up where you were hit in the head by the second shockwave, which in turn caused the shockwave to shred your head into tiny little fragments and pieces.

Of course, the options I presented may change if you can justify your actions.

I reread all the posts you have made in your battle. Not once have yous aid your swords were 'vibrating' in anyway. In fact, all you said was that they were 'singing along with the DS". I dunno about you, but singing doesn't always imply vibrating. In fact, it hardly does.

Here's the chronology:
You throw the shockwaves at me.
I negate them. I use Song of the Chaotic.
You holds your ears in pain as your swords lessen the pain only slightly.
I launch the shockwaves.
And finally, your post in question.

Not in a single one of your posts did you state that sword was vibrating or you had gathered any energy whatsoever. And it certainly wasn't possible that you gathered the energy while Song of the Chaotic was ungoing because you were in great amounts of pain and agony. And as I mentioned before singing doesn't equal vibrating.

Alright fine, you got rid of the Song of the Chaotic. Whoopdeedoo. But listen to this now...

"As the two shockwaves grew closer to Leon, his trade mark smirk returned to his face as the energy around him began to seperate not only the air around bhim, but it caused a tremendous decrease in Sparda's song."

That's what you said. "As the two shockwaves grew closer to Leon." You know what that means? It means that the shockwaves have already begun their journey towards you. It also means that the time it would take to reach you has already lessen. And because you had to seperate the air around you (whatever that means), which WILL TAKE AT LEAST SOME TIME (I'm using caps to stress the key points), the first shockwave is almost definitely going to hit you.

Now taking into consideration that the first shockwave did hit you but you still jumped up. Ok, a shockwave isn't some kind of light beam where it will hit you but you won't feel a thing. It's nearly impossible you take a shockwave such as mine dead on (especially when it was traveling at such speeds) and not flinch or have some sort of recoil meaning that the moment you recoil, you waste at least one second meaning the moment you jump up, the shockwave will hit your lower torso or upper abdomen (you are, after all 6').

Second...
You cannot say "I jumped while I spoke" because if this was truly the case, why didn't you say "As he said this, he leapt into the air". Your logic is equal to saying

"Leon jumped into the super hot lava. He then extinguished it to prevent harm onto him"

I appologize, I thought I stated that they were vibrateing when they were singing.. That was my fault

and again I should have stated that he jumped and spoke.

That doesnt exclude that energy flareing up and distorting the air takes more then a second.

its liek fire, if you want it to melt metal fast, you turn it up.

Off: Just so you know, I won't tolerate anything else like that again. You make a mistake like that, I won't bother even mentioning it like I did in a post. I'll just make a simbattle reply using your flaws to my advantage.

Note: Any dialogue in Italics is done so telepathically.

As Leon jumped into the air, Sparda immediately forced some distance inbetween him and his overconfident opponent. Using a sudden burst of psychic powers against himself while levitation, he was able to push himself back to the ground, still fifty feet from Leon.

Since Leon had to execute a couple of actions in order to successfuly unleash the series of shockwaves that were being launched at him, Sparda had more than enough time to prepare. As his opponent crossed his swords together, Sparda suddenly thrusted his great sword into the sky as if pointing to the heavens. While this was being done, Sparda also held out his left hand, his palm and his spread out fingers pointing at the general direction of Leon.

What was the purpose of this unusual stance? The position of his left hand was understandable, but what of his right hand and his sword? Why were they pointing the raining dark sky like that?

Sparda waited as Leon continued to unleash the series of shockwaves at him. Then suddenly, he saw it. His opponent had made a glaring flaw in his technique. He had attempted to copy his combo by placing several 'warning' shockwaves ahead of several other 'deadly' shockwaves. However, he had made the 'deadly' shockwaves travel twice and even four times as fast as the 'warning' shockwaves. Therefore, Sparda didn't even have to do anything with the incoming attack because Leon's technique would be its own undoing.

As he demonstrated before, a shockwave was capable of stopping another shockwave. Normally, a single shockwave would not be able to stop an entire group of shockwaves. However, Leon's final shockwaves had the 'cutting ability that could rival even a God's sword and power'. Therefore, this suggested that it was in fact capable of stopping all the shockwaves infront of it. And since it traveled four times faster than the waves before it, it wouldn't be a problem at all.

The last two shockwaves collided with the shockwaves ahead of it due to the drastic difference in speed, resulting in a rather large explosion from the impact of the waves. Sparda, fortunately, had positioned himself a safe distance from the explosion. But since Leon was rather close to the blast, the explosion would be large enough to engulf him completely.

As this was done, however, something unusual happened. Five massive thunderbolts shot out from the dark wet skies, all aimed for the same exact target: the Deathsword. Guided by telekinesis, each thunderbolt shot and entered the great weapon's mighty blade, and ultimately into Sparda himself. After all these years, Leon must have forgotten that one of Sparda's pure elemental compatibility was with thunder.

Now, the reason was clear as day. Sparda had stirred up a great thunderstorm, not to enhance the arena, but to enhance himself, using the thunderbolts to his advantage. Taking into consideration the great size of the storm as well as the massive amounts of energy each thunderbolt could and did contain, it was more than fair enough to say that Sparda's 'energy levels' if energy could even be calculated like that, had increased by 3 fold...or possibly even more. After all, it was hard to tell with a being like Sparda.

In other words...he was already primed up for one of his infamous 'finishing' techniques. What would have taken him a long while of preparation (ranging from 2-4 posts) took him only five minutes and five thunderbolts.

"And I couldn't have done it without you. Heh."

:: As the explosion took place and engulfed Leon's entire body, he watched as Sparda was energuized and ready'd for one of his finishing moves that Leon had become accustomed to seeing. In a single moment, all of the smoke around Leon vanished as his energy again flared all around him, the hidious black and purple color rezinated all around his body as he raised his right arm to the sky::

Ah, I now think its time to stop playing games with you my friend. I wanted a serious fight and have been holding back 90% of my power, forgive me, I let my ego get the better of my mind

::From around Leon's right wrist came what appeared to be a braclet of steel, connected to a chain that dropped several inchs from the link on the bind stopping just below Leon's elbow. Leon grasped the chain and closed hsi eyes, muttering something under his breath::

...................((muttering))

::After he spoke, Leon again opened his eyes only to show that they were now engulffed in the darkest shade of green. The binding around his right wrist shattered, and what happened next could only be described as a magnificent horror. The energy around Leon haulted for a mear momment, just long enough for Leon to raise both hands to the sky before it returned. The color had now shifted from purple to deep green, the same as his eyes as it surrounded him and grew in force and size. After five seconds had pass'd The energy around Leon shot straight into teh air, peirceing the strom that Sparda had created, leaveing a hole in the clouded about 60 feet in diamiter, showing off the once clear sky once more. Leon's energy continued untill it reached the upper atmosphere, once there it burned a hole right through the ozone pocket and blasted its way into space. Moments later teh energy plowed into the fullest of moons, driveing a hole right through it before fireing into the deepest reachs of space. The effect from the blast caused the moon to crack and distort before burning to dust. As teh energy around Leon started to come to a hault, the last remains of teh moon, now entering the earths atmosphere, burned in its enormous heat. Leon now glared at Sparda with the smile of a Tyrant, before falling to the ground, standing exactly fifty feet away from Sparda, Leon awaited his opponents move::

Come my dear old comrad, lets show these pesants what fighting really is

"What a waste."

Honestly, with Leon just giving him a fireworks show, showing off his so called skills, Sparda saw this as the greatest opportunity for him to unleash a sort of sneak attack against his opponent, seeing as how he wasn't interested at all in attacking him but the moon. Hearing his opponent say "I wanted a serious fight and have been holding back 90% of my power" made Sparda chuckle silently under his breath as he slowly lowered his left hand to the ground, his clenched fist concealing a soft glow that was protruding from his palm.

As Leon jumped into the air, in the process of destroying the moon, Sparda opened his fist, and let go of what seemed to be a simple semi-transparent orb of energy which, guided by his advanced telekinesis, moved rather quickly, covering the entire fifty feet distance between him and Leon, so that it was positioned directly under Leon. As what remained of the moon burned in the Earth's atmosphere, Impale was unleashed as the orb that Sparda had previously let loose formed into massive spikes, all positioned underneath Leon.

Since his rash opponent had already destroyed the moon, there was no longer any light to be given off. Therefore, detection of the menacing spikes was nearly impossible. The moment Leon began his descent to the ground, Sparda unleashed a massive burst of telekinesis upon the wall of spikes, causing each and every spike to shoot up [There is an exact distance of 1 feet in between each spike. However, as it shoots up, the wall becomes curved so that there is no possible way of slipping through one of these gaps lest the opponent is impaled by at least 10 of the spikes. Due to the incredible burst of energy in which the spikes were launched, they traveled at exactly 75fps. However, due to the speed of Leon's descent, it seemed as if the spikes were travelling at 85fps.

Therefore, evasion was nearly impossible. After all, Leon had foolishly returned to the ground without so much as a simple precaution of what may have been waiting for him. Due to the speed in which the spikes traveled, there would hardly be any time for Leon to 'fly' out of the way, seeing as how the area in which the spikes covered was vast and great...enough to ensure that at least a part of Leon's body would be completely impaled and torn to shreds. However, seeing as how Leon didn't seem to be in possession of levitation, it seemed nearly impossible for him to even move a single inch away from the incoming wall. And since Leon had just wasted so much energy destroying the moon, it made it that more difficult for Leon to actually attempt to stop the incoming attack. After all, how could one not be at least a single bit exhausted after having destroyed a minor 'planet' that rested thousands upon thousands of feet from Mother Earth?

However, upon careful examination of Sparda's technique, one could easily tell that this wasn't the full usage of his new found energy from the thunderbolts. In fact, it was hardly any of it. Why was Sparda holding back the rest of his energy when he simply could have finished Leon of with another one of his 'real' finishing combos? If Leon could manage a way to live through it...then he would find out very very soon.

"Leon, you told me to fight with all my strength and will. I too have a confession for I have barely even tapped into my powers. If you are still alive to hear this message...then stand before me and you shall see exactly the reason behind this. You shall be the very first to witness what I truly have to offer. But only if you can survive what I have just thrown at you."

Impale- Using his ability to ‘excrete’ energy from his body in extraordinarily large doses to be used against the enemy, Sparda forms a massive orb which expands to exactly fifty feet in diameter, coated in a very unique substance, its source being from the Deathsword’s eye. The energy orb, much like a sort of clay, can instantly be molded into any so shape Sparda wishes by means of using his psychic powers to form out each and every curve and angle. However, for this attack, Sparda flattens the orb and forms massive spikes, each exactly twenty feet in length. To prevent the enemy from ‘remolding’ the spikes into something less deadly, the substance excreted from the Deathsword is used. Much like the way the plasma of the Deathsword strengthens its molecules and bonds by ten fold, the substance strengthens the molded spikes by ten fold, preventing literally any possibility of hampering the formation of the ‘wall of spikes’ that is formed from the orb. Since each spike is molded with the greatest precision and accuracy, coated with the special substance, its ability to penetrate almost anything is almost undeniable since the very tip of each spike, though hard to see, is exactly the width of a single molecule [The tips are deadly accurate and extraordinarily effective. Most barriers and shields would not be able to withstand a single thrust of these spikes due to their extreme durability and pointy tips]. Each spike is positioned exactly a half a feet away from each other [This can be altered in battle, however] and there are an exact total of fifty spikes.
The wall of spikes can be used as a trap for falling opponents or foolish opponents that do not know where they are going or an offensive attack in which a sudden burst of telekinesis against the wall is enough to send the ‘wall of spikes’ traveling at a frightening 60 fps+ depending on how much force was concentrated on it.
