| I'll bluntly state that three former or current Shin-Ra members can take on your whole entire RPing community at once, therefore, we should have a tournment.
----- Shin-Ra, Inc. Vs Xeogaming. All fighters shall enter one thread, both sides shall fight side by side, with the post count starting from the leaders of each group. Think of it as a royal rumble, but far, far, far, far more deadly. We'll have a panel of 5 Judges, 2 Shin-Ra, 2 Xeogaming, and Sparda. There will be two rules: 1. You can only use techniques, of both offence and defense that you can satifisfactorly explain and elaborate upon. Meaning, if you can't logically and reasonably explain it, you cannot use it. 2. You cannot Godmod, defined as, controlling someone other than your character. This is an official challenge from the CEO of Shin-Ra, Inc. Respectfully, Reno Wingates Hazard. P.S: Don't chicken out. :p |

| Who the hell is this 'Shin-Ra' Group that is continuously talked about here. I have never heard of any of you people, so leave, freak-os! lol. Anyway, I actually have never heard of you people so you must not be that great or important... Which would be a great reason to not have a tournament based on that alone.
Perhaps if we created a double elimination tournament, it would be rather interesting. And the fighters would be guaged by several judges on the quality of their moves, and description of their posts, so technically, someone could lose the fight, but still technically win the battle. It would be a test to see those who follow thhe rules to the extent of their abilities. With skill built in, of course. |

I think a regular round-robin tournament will be fine. I think a war would be tad much for the board.....You're saying you three against every fighter? That's a bit extreme. And I can't even imagine the arguments that will ensue. Let's just stick to a regular tournament for now, if we have one at all. |

Oh, Xeios, you should realize, simply because a group is 'new' to a place doesn't mean they're 'new' to everything, we're experienced, seasoned veterans from hundreds of different places and battles. Besides, if we're not all that good, you'd be SLAUGHTERING us, right? You'd be winning against all of us, no matter the number right? Just because you guys are so called, 'seasoned vets' from what I can gather, you ahave about the skill of every newbie on this site. Your introduction here has been that youare 'the greatest', but I believe that our weakest could stand against you for a long time. You lack the ability to describe, or, like your friends, describe too thoroughly, you need to take into effec tthe fact that too lottle and too much description leaves loopholes. And if you cover every angle with your large amount of description, you are regarded as a GMer. Common sense, intelligence, and overall skill with words are tested in Sim-Battling. I notice from your battle with shaddow, that you lack all of those prior stated qualities. Thus you are regarded as a noobie, and one who frankly does not know shit abut anything. |

| Yeah, it doesnt matter how "skilled" you are, when it comes to it, it dont me shit if someone throws a string of attacks or actions that you werent expecting. If you are really that talented and strong, thats great, but until you have proven it, dont vaunt it to EVERYONE. From what ive seen, your a bunch of 10-15 year olds who get angred easily and make very brash decisions (I.E., you want to rip someones arms and legs off for calling you a baby, when dismembering is not allowed.). Please, stop telling everyone how good you are and just show us in a fight. Oh, and BTW, Xeios is right, its a GM to cover all the angles to a T, in a simbattle, even the lowliest post with a little description can totally fuck your entire detailed post like it was nothing. Now that ive done my flame on Reno, lets get back to this new tourney, shall we? What would be the prize? Fame, glory, riches, a car? what? If it gets huge and almost everyone is in, i say it should be for one wish (i.e, you could say become a admin, or a mod, or do something besides ban a member) for like a month... This isn't even a Shin-Ra problem right now. From what I've seen, Shin-Ra is a group of decent people whom just have a few... weak points. Right now this is a Reno problem. Reno, your mouth is overloading your ass with your damn ego. Nobody gives a shit if you can say you can take us all out. You wanna prove that, proove that in LEON'S tournement. I'm closing this thread before any more freaking yelling continues. Just post Yes or No for LEON'S tournament. |
