| Fill the 5 litre bucket.
Pour into 3 litre bucket untill 3 litre bucket is full. Dump water out of 3 litre bucket. Pour the remaining water from the 5 litre bucket into the 3 litre bucket. Fill the 5 litre bucket completely. The 5 litre bucket now holds 5 litres, and the 3 litre bucket holds 2. 5+2=7 You have a total of 7 Litres. |
