They never really interested me much anyways...though it is funny watching my brother-in-laws act like assmonkeys trying to set off fireworks. None of them ever listen to me when i tell them how to do it...so I just gotta hope that they don't hurt themselves.  |

| happy fourth of july people. this year we didnt do fire works. mostly because theres probloms going on at my house right now(long story ask me later) but i wish i could do them. its just so dry where me and kaijin are that if you set a firework off your likely to start a forest fire or something so no good ones like fire crackers or m80s or bottle rockets for me this year(those are reserved for new years ) |

| The 4th is also my brother and grandmother's birthdays. Had grandma's party on the 2nd, and today we went to my brothers, had a barbeque, and drove around for nearly an hour in Redondo Beach looking for a parking spot for a 15 minute firework show that was mostly obscured due to the fog coming in. It was nice though.
Came home, lit off fireworks at 11:30PM with mom and other brother... who then lit off a bottle bomb and woke up half the neighborhood. I still say this is a holiday for pyros. |

Well, there seems to be a lot here who really enjoyed yesterday. <I came to my cousin's place in Winona last night expecting to see the annual fireworks show. Instead I find out that they do all that during the Steamboat Days which I went to about a week and a half ago.  I don't know why they stopped doing them on the fourth.
So what I ended up doing was walking around the neighborhood with my little cousin to listen to and watch people light their's off. What's a little spooky is that I had just seen War of the World about an hour earlier, so hearing all the bangs an explsions made it seem like it was part of the movie with the military striking at the aliens. After getting back to her house I broke out the glowsticks and we started glowstringing. I tried teaching her a simple move. She's almost got it down. |

| I watched fireworks at disneyland. They were really good. We did this thing called firework hunting where we drove around. In the area of about ten miles all around my house there were about 50 places you could see them. It was awesome.
Only downfall was not having Jin to cuddle with while watchinng them. |
