Recently, there have been quite a few movies released that have had a lot of violences/guts/gore in them. My question to you is, how tolerative are you when it comes to that stuff? On a scale of 1 to 10 (1 meaning you'd only watch G movies, and 10 for only R movies), rate your level of threshold for guts and gore. For me, my rating would probably be an 8. I can tolerate a lot of it, but I guess I have to draw the line somewhere. | |||

Only movies to ever get to me are Pet Cemetary (achilles tendon slicing... ouch) and Wrong Turn (they just went too far). Otherwise I can take anything. |

Movies like Pet Cemetary and stuff?
Honestly, I don't care for those kinds of movies, or "zombie" movies. They just seem really boring to me personally, and I lose interest quickly. But, if I had to rate myself, I'd give myself an 8. Sometimes I "miss" things though, apparently in this one zombie movie my friend rented, there's a part towards the end where this character literally stuck his fingers into somebody's eye sockets, I was starring at the screen but I didn't notice ... my friends were yelling about it though. |

Mainly because the gore becomes gimmicky after too long and the movie then becomes stupid. Blood is nothing, gore does faze me after a while. Depends how tounge-in-cheek the movies is though. Dead Alive (oh, a gallon of fake blood a scene) was so campy that there was no way it was scary, but wrong turn was definitly bordering on too much in a serious manner. |

9.7 I can handle anything except when some movies show killing baby's and kids, that just makes me sad not scared. Actually one movie that made me like " whoa" was Gothica, it took a twist plus it was something that I can personally see happening In real life...*shrugs* it was just so realistic to me for some odd reason. I have never flinched in a movie, omg I was so dissapointed in myself because I can pretty much watch a scary movie by myself at night time in the dark when no one is home so I be scared and it be kind of fun but 2 corny movies that actually got me flinching and hiding under covers where The Grudge and When Darkness Falls. I think movies that have to deal with women coming out at night time to kill you is pretty damn scary to me, specially old people that wear white mask floating in the dark hall ways...just waiting for you to see hem so they can kill you.. KILL KILL okay I watch to many movies *scared* some one hold me ;__; |
