I saw someone ask this on Acmlm's so I though I'd ask here

I think the worst enemy is Psycho Mantis in Metal Gear Solid (The original PS1 version... the GC psycho mantis was so easy i defeated him in 10 minutes without the controller swap)

My worst annoying enemy is the Water Elemental from Beyond the Beyond... It is the first hardest boss ever!

First... you started off with 4 (or 5, if you got a "secret" character, Toni) and you got 1 cursed warrior along with the 3 or 4. And pretty much, you got some horrible HP and stuff. It ranged around 30-50 HP (which is NOT GOOD) and the only healers are you and Annie... The only spellcasters who could inflict enough damages would be Edward and Toni (if you get him.)

Now this annoying boss get his special trick up in his sleeves. Ice Level 2. That damn spell hit all of my guy with about 20 worths a damages! I can't even heal all of them with just two healers. Lucky, those LP saved my rear butt so many times. (By the way, LP stand for Life Points and if you have some remaining LP before your character HP reaches to 0, your character won't die and will use their LP to gain HP. Sometime, it will use 13 LP to give 26 HP... Not bad might I say, althrough it is very random that the LP give out.)

The problem is also how hard the boss is. I try hitting him so hard, it look like he could NEVER die. All your guy could inflict few worth of damages, but it is still nearly impossible. That's when Annie need her Heal Circle or Heal Rain. Those spells are the lifesaving when it come to annoying Ice Level 2. (Heal Circle should able to heal everyone.)

The main problem is Simon. Since he was cursed during this battle, it seem he can't do a flying craps about dealing WOMD all over him. The curses suck all his strenght and everything (he just suck!), providing a difficulties battle. I swear to god... HP, LP, and MP are so sacred at this point.

The second boss? ... I am not even going there either... That was twice as hell as the first boss is. He cast Fire Level 2 that inflict about 30 damages to each characters!

Golden Sun: The lost Age.
Star Magician. I hate him and his balls. Really; he brings his balls into to combat. One of them ALWAYS heals him.
Golden Sun
Deadbeard. Even at my highest level, my Psynergy and attacks could barely faze him, and his attacks are absolutely devestating. If I unset all be Djinni, then I'll be too weak to take him on, even with the sumons at my command. It is ridiculous.

Try fighting the "real" final boss in the Lost Age. Make sure you have all Djinni, enter the temple, kill the last side-quest boss (The only way to kill him easy is to summon against him), and get a super combined Summon.

Oh yeah, can't you just summon against those Star Guardian? I don't remember where they were but I think I beat them very easy at their own game.

Like Likes and Wallmasters from most of the Zelda games.

Like Likes, I always hated them because if they ever caught me, I'd always get pissed to have to go all the way back to a town to buy a new sheild.

And Wallmasters just got annoying because nobody wants to be sent to the beginning of the dungeon, and they never stop coming in LttP.

STFU with wallmasters

The floormasters are worse than them. They can turn invincible and split into three when you hit it. and the three splits then grow into full floormasters after 15-20 seconds.

And Like Likes you just had to kill within a minute of them stealing your shield to get it back... I've never fully lost ANYTHING from them

Borgon, From the Sega CD verson of " Lunar2 Eternal Blue"

Like, he was the most impossiable person to kill, his Magic Defence is Maxed out unless you destroy all 3 of his Crystal Balls, also, each crystal ball is elemental, and when they attack, they dish out 150+ damage. But by that time..you have like 310+ HP, so defeating him takes time....and no frustration, I wasted 3 broken Crontrollers i threw on the wall on him...

The last battle with Duragon from The Bouncer. GOD! I thought I was going to die when I had to battle him, he pissed me off SO much. I think I died like 15 times before I finally beat him in the head with Sion.

...I really could have broken that disk after I finished...but I'm not that mean to my disks... XD

as far as annoying goes, i really hate the fission metroids in Prime. You have to shoot them a good amount until they split into two, then kill them with a specific beam ( color coded and I'm colorblind! ). The other way you could destroy them was with one of your precious power bombs, but not all places in that game are morph ball friendly. Ten of those in an open room would be much harder than either final boss.

It sounds like the Sega CD version of Lunar 2 was x10 harder than the one for PS because I had no problems at all with any of the bosses in that game. Also I though it was for the Saturn not CD?

Here here to wizzrobes being bastards.

But really, the most annoying enemy for me has to be the final boss of Ikaruga. You can't do anything for the entirety of the match, so you just have to skilfully dodge everything. First time I got to it I was so panicked 'cause I had no continues left and he quickly reduced me to my last life... I only barely "won" that fight

Eh, Zophar gave me some serious problems, but I think I was just a tad underleveled. Talked to one person who beat him and had problems, she was L65... yeah, I was only L55.

Now, the PS version of Lunar was EASY.

Those bastard rabbits in some of the Zelda games. Until I realized that the Flute/Recorder/Ocarina/ThatGame'sChoiceInstrument was an instant kill. Darknuts in LoZ are a pain in the ass, too. They always turn at the most inopportune times.

Del Lily from PSO Ep. 1+2. Hello Mr. LVL 126, shiny armor, can it protect against my black ball of pain and agony. Ha guess not. Oops instant kill, see ya. No way to defend against it either.

Well I hope no-one has forgotten about the dog in Duck Hunt. The only living object in the game you can't kill, and he laughs at you for not killing the ducks!!! I broke my light gun trying to kill him, then found you couldn't (SO BLOODY UNFAIR!!!)

I could name some off from my head:

- The first 2 boss in Beyond the Beyond. You really need Annie's Healing Circle or Healing Rain (since it heal everyone HP where some enemy boss have some spell that hits everyone.) (By the way, Glade and Water Element are the first two boss you actually fight.)
- The Witch in Ogre Battle. Damn, those Stun Clouds are very horrible to fight against. Lucky, the World Tarot Card help here.
- The SandTime Imp / Wizard Boss Battle in Dragon Warrior 7. I totally hate this battle! Okay, let just say you kill the Wizard Boss first, and one of the Sandtime Imp. If one of those imps sprinkle the Sandtime, guess what? REDO the entire battle back from the start! Hell, they can use it anytime they want to, and it get really annoying that you have to continuously fight them either three events happened: Your party died, you kill the Imp before they get a chance to use the time sand, and you kill all of those imp (which prevent from using any more sandtime.) Took me almost 2 days to kill this guy without cheating. (Yeah, I died alot... Damn Timesand)
- Those three v.s. three boss fight in Baten Kaitos. I can't remember them but you fight them for the first time on Disc 2. Not only it is annoying to have some guy fighting, but you have kept using alot of defense cards to provide yourself and it help lowering your deck count. They are hard to kill since they pull lot of good tricks too. (You can't even level up while in this area! So if you are at level 10, tough luck.)

I think I could name more... but I am all out at this moment.

I really don't know.. All bosses are annoying to me. Yet some are fun. I have to say the most annoying boss would be the Nightmare guy from Kirby. GAWD I hated the fact I had to jump around. And then he'd fly across the screen and I almost get hit.... Try playing it at night and you're about to faint because of sleep loss. XD

Then there's that stupid orb thing from Final Fantasy 9. I can't stand it!!! I tried the magic hammer attempt but every time I get killed. T_T I finally got passed it and it was so great!

Then on Shen Megami Tensei: Nocturne it was that Dante guy from Devil May Cry. Yes he's on Nocturne. You have to fight him. And you beat him by shear luck. AGH!!! DIEEEE STUPID GAME! XD

Then on Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced I had to defeat the queen. Do you know how annoying that is? She keeps doing all these powerful attacks and when you get her hp low, she uses Cur-freaking-aga.
