Keira put a hand over her heart and a tear dropped from her cheek. "He's going to die... isn't he..." She said in a whisper. She didn't want to let go. She gripped her fist. "So... I don't want him to die.. not now..." She closed her eyes. She smiled. "I remember something in the book saying, it's the will that powers everything. It's the will that made me survive to old age, and it's the will that saved his life." Keira blinked. "But the point is... If it's the will that made me see that dead falcon, than it's the will that can prevent it." Keira shook her head. "Or maybe I'm wrong..."
Francine blinked and looked at the gang. She looked over at Maurelous and sighed. "The calvery is here." Maurelous laughed. "You should talk." He scoffed. Francine looked over at Kevin. She blinked. Maurelous rolled his eyes and kicked a straggling gaurd with a rifle from behind her. "Do you know what he's doing to you?" Francine glared at him. "What?" "Making you think..." Maurelous said. "Making you think TOO MUCH for your own good. Stop thinking and you'll be okay. Depend solely on your instincts." He put his hands on his hips. "Honestly... You're going to have an alpha male, you're going to have to stick with your senses. That's why males are mostly leaders, you're the second female leader, and you're never going to be as powerful as Luna." Francine kicked Maurelous real hard. "You think I care? You think I want to be like her? She had many husbands..." Maurelous laughed. "Look at you! You got your collar, you've been well groomed, and you've gotten modest!" He walked away. "You want to be a true leader, take the gloves off and lick the blood!" He walked off. Francine put a fist in the air. "WELL ATLEAST I GOT SOME COMMON SENSE!!!" She shouted insulted and heard Maurelous guffaw. |

Jack felt his mind sifting through a sea of contemplation, awaiting entrance into the next realm. He hadn't supposed he was ready to die, but forces beyond his control seemed to decide his will wasn't enough. As he braced to let go of the last ties to mortality, he felt a strengthened sense of life, awashed in a sea of pain.
He had survived, somehow. He wanted to question what had happened, he needed to know how he had held on. But he'd figure it out later. He had won, and that was all that mattered. His eyes, half-awake and falling, closed doors and let him fall back into sleep, a smile on his face. To him, lying on a pile of rubble, alone and greatly injured never felt better. An escaped guard was hiding in the forest, having made his way out of the building and certain death. He was panting, his whole body aflame with fear. Who had done that? How could one man do that? He gasped when he saw a figure running away from the facility, widly and haphazardly. The guard gulped and turned at the runner in the darkness, yelling "FREEZE!" as strongly as he could. The figure turned, and the guard realized it was the Lion, a crazed face masking his normal indifference. As soon as the guard noticed what else was amiss about the Lion, he gagged and heaved a helping of vomit, his fear mixed with disgust. As the Lion turned and ran towards the main Government base, the blood dripping from where his left arm had been left a trail of horror behind him, signaling his failure. He didn't want to risk another fight with Jack. |

*Morrighan looked at the approaching army with a small sigh of relief, she never been happier to see a priest in her life. She turned to see three of the Sentinals approaching her and Kevin, rifles trained on them. Extending her palm, she felt the energy building as her hair began to stand on end again... she had never dispelled the energy that built up when she was angry before, it would be interesting to see it at last*
"ELECTRINAVITAS MAXIMA" *A powerful blast of lighting hit the first Sentinal, frying it in five seconds and then arced off to strike the two near it, then hit all other Sentinals within a 100 ft radius of the first one. Morrighan held the charge, fueling all her fury into the spell until all of the robots in the radius were fried to a crisp and lay as half-melted wreckage on the battle field with corpses of the government soliders that had be crushed when they fell trapped beneath them. Morrighan sunk to the ground, her vision swimming in and out of blackness* "Fuck...." |

Jack was compelled to stand. He didn't want to, he wanted to stay here in this subconcious sleep forever. But, whatever will that forced him to live wanted him to stand. His eyes pried open with force, and he began calling his mana back. He'd done it. Now, Dalit was safe. The only reason it had come to this was because of his final trick. He'd cast a shadow spell, like the one that had rested on Urashi, onto the Lion. The Shadow was disguised in his last attack, and he'd wounded the Lion enough for him to not be aware of it. It took everything he had, but the Lion was now possesed with becoming a part of the Chimera. Telling him to use Dalit would be like insulting his mother.
He realized he couldn't move without an extreme pain running through him. So, no hope of walking. He grimaced as he slowly twitched his right arm into his left coat pocket, retrieving his communicator. He put it on and turned it on to the Kiera's private frequency. "K...Kiera...Almost done the prophecy...All I got to do now is kill the Chimera and train Dalit...Easy stuff..." He chuckled once at first, his cheast heaving. Then, as time passed, his laugh became louder and louder. His communicator was busted.... He couldn't stop laughing. The whole scenario was so happy and funny...Things were looking up. Then, a sudden realization came to Jack's mind. His laughter froze, and his eyes were wide open with shock. "Who's going to help me get back to base?" |

Kevin dismounted from his mech, after seeing Morrighan destroy the remaining forces of the Government's main attack, and walked up next to her. "Get in the mech. I can get you back to the base, if you want. For now, rest." He ran up to the Father, and saw his forces. He smirked, and put his hands on his hips. "Father, you never cease to amaze me." The elderly man laughed a bit. "You guys! Go and regroup with the 369 at their headquarters!" The leader of the rebels nodded, and revved his motorcycle. "You heard the man! Move!" They all sped off to the 369 to provide support. "So, Kevin. This is quite a mess here. What happened?" Kevin scowled a bit. "Ah, those damn Government punks traced Francine and the werewolves back to their house and bombarded it. Only damage to the third floor was sustained, thankfully. Glad you're here now." Kevin smiled, happy to see the minister, that attended his brothers funeral, again. The father picked his head up. "So, who's the lucky girl, Kevin?" He asked with a chuckle. Kevin laughed, and pointed over behind him. "Hey! Francine! Come over and meet Father Callaghan!"
OOC: I don't know if he had a name before. If he did, I don't remember it, and his name is now Father Callaghan, regardless of what I named him before. BIC: Adam was furious. The attack on the Ullric house failed, and one of his best men were captured. His ees were slits as he spoke to the sergeant in the small bunker. "Get me the Lion. NOW!" The Lion dashed through the lines of trees like a madman possed, only the shadow and his own fears of death keeping him going. He let out a growl as he pushed off a tree and broke the clearing, finally coming upon the main Government base.
It was a giant white mansion with an oblate circle-like pillar came out from the front of it. The flag pole dangling from there was the Government flag, untounched as of yet by combat. The garden surrounding it was marvelous and well-kept, warm lights illuminating it. The many guards patrolling outside noticed the Lion running and prepared to shoot en masse until they realized who it was. To see such a calm man in such a hurry meant a catastrophe. He bolted inside the mansion and ran down the west wing until he came upon a door. He pushed it open and entered a sterile, white hospitial-like facility. In a rush, he threw his bloody coat off and revealed his bloody shoulder. "Clean this!" |

Adam was discouraged. "He never obeys orders. That bastard.... I'l have to finish the job at the Ullric house myself. Johnson! Prepare my M-90." The guard stood up and ran outside, toa large, fearsome looking mech. "I'll crush them if it's the last thing I do." | |||

*Morrighan thankfully crawled into the mech at Kevin's direction. As they approached the base she was feeling much better. She looked around as she climbed out*
"Where is Jack? Has anyone seen him?" *No one had seen him. All had seen the explosion, but he had not yet returned. Cursing under her breath she grabbed an energy restorant brought to her by one of the 369 members and turned towards where the base was, sensing just slightly what was left of Jack's energy* "I'll be back... good thing I bounce back fast." *Running at full speed, Morrighan seemed to just vanish. Withing five minutes she had reached the base's remains. Through the pants for breath she looked down at Jack* "Nice job... you alright?" |

Jack saw Morrighan and laughed, slowly allowing his body to quiver with pain. He rose up and looked at her with a weak smile.
"Yeah. I just can't keep doing this." Jack slowly stepped closer and closer to Morrighan. He began to slump, but he caught himself by resting on a tree. "Direct orders from General Eldridge, Morrighan. Have all troups regroup at the 369 base and under Kiera's leadership to attack the main Government base. We need EVERY soldier on that place in 8 hours, before they make the Chimera...Also, make sure we can find at least one poweful vampire still on our side...One last thing. I need Kiera to heal me. In that matter of 8 hours, I need her wind magic to recall all my lost mana along with the Lions' before it finds him again. That way, I'll be strong enough to fight the Chimera if it comes." |

"Alright, sir! I'll get you back to the base as well... but I don't know where Keira is or how to get ahold of her."
*She placed a hand to her com-unit in her ear and transmitted the order to assemble and locate the vampire as she picked up Jack gently with her other arm* "Hang on if you can Jack. It's not safe to use a teleport spell with you like this, so I'll go with treestriding." *She walked up to a giant oak tree near the edge of the rubble* "Arbolis transmute" *The tree shimmered and Morrighan walked into the tree itself. It was warm an welcoming in the gentle glow of the transmuted tree. She felt the connection to many other oaks nearby, including the one a few miles from the headquarters. Willing herself to the distant tree she felt the faint shift as they traveled. She had learned the spell from an Earth Wiccan last year, he had created it himself and after he died had left Morrighan as the sole person that knew how to cast it. Morrighan stepped out of the tree near the base carrying Jack, finding the place in a bustle following her message. She carried Jack to his room and laid him down* "Well, that part is done at least... now to find Keira. Forgive me for this Jack" *She took the com-unit from Jack and activated it* "Keira, you need to get back here like five minutes ago. Code silver, you're healing wind is needed and General Eldritch has ordered full assault on the Governement base. I hope you can hear this." OOC: Code Silver - Commanding officer critically injured, immediate assistance required. |

...Meanwhile...
"You're telling me Jack is still alive?" A voice said, shattering the darkness it spoke from. The voice was dark like Urashi's had been, but it had the blunt determination of Jack's. To anyone from 369, the voice would carry a haunting resemblance to the two's. An old, crackled voice responded after a long period from the first speaker's outburst. "Yes, and he probably needs the Knights now more than ever. He still wages open war with the Government." The haunting voice gasped, and lit a candle using magic, revealing to any bystanders the faces of the two. The haunting voice had a kind, sleek face with long red hair that had no large bangs intruding upon his face, and the other was a bent old man with scars and wrinkles making an endless catacomb upon his face. The red-haired one spoke. "Then I no what must be done. I was once the Wolf of the Five. Now, I, Francis Eidos, leader of the Reformed Order of Wiccans, shall come to the Falcon's aid. Your leave, sir." He stepped out of the darkness of the alleyway revealing to the world his appearance. His long red hair was a contrast to his black leather clothing, tied about with dark brown constraints. He was an odd figure walking down the the snow-laden streets of white and grey, but with the constant battles and officers of the Government popping in and out, the civilians took little notice. He walked slowly, his thin dark figure heading solemnly towards the forest that held the 369 base, where the climax had begun to gather. Jack was to be reuinted with one last face before this was all over... The Lion sat in the medical room, wincing as his bloody, bruised body was being prepared. However, his eyes were alight with crazed joy as he looked up at the flourescent ceiling. "Get the scientists to call all other units of the Chimera back to base. The operation is a go." "Hey Morrighan...No need to call a Code Silver...I'm not that injured...I just...can't stand up is all." Jack laughed and stared up at the ceiling, thinking now only of defeating the chimera. He had to win...8 hours... |

"If you're messed up enough that I have to carry you home it's at least code red... but for how banged up you are now I'd call it silver... besides, it will ensure she hurries."
*She looked at him for a moment before asking the question that had pressed in her mind since she had seen him amongst the rubble* "So... did you kill him?" |

Jack laughed heartily.
"Nope. Didn't want to. But I did, however, save your son. He's now possesed by a shadow, and the desire of the shadow is to make him be a part of the Chimera." He smiled. He could have killed his enemy with less damage to him, but he had to take the damage to get the shadow in. His master plan had worked, and all that was left would be over today. Then he could dissapear... |

"Dalit's safe? Oh thank the gods! I'd hug you, but I think I'd break a rib or two."
*Morrighan wanted to go out and hug Dalit and tell him the news, but she didn't want to leave Jack until she heard from Keira; and it still wasn't safe to have him leave the Insanity room until the vampires are taken care of* |

Keira recieved the call, "Put him in the infirmary... I'll be there ASAP." She looked at the book and walked out. "I have ta drive his hunk-a-junk?!" She looked back and smiled. "Thankyou Mr. Ted! I'll see you later!" She jumped in the car and drove back to base. It would've taken her three hours but it took her half that time.
Francine smiled and went to Kevin. She looked over at the Father and blinked. "Who's the guy with the bikers?" |

The Father gave the werewolf girl a kind smile, and bowed a little.
Kevin smiled a bit as well. "Francine, this is Father Callaghan, leader of the Government Resistance Brigade. He's also going to be the man who's going to marry us!" Kevin beemed. The Father looked at her with his kind eyes. "Hello, young lady. It is a pleasure to meet you. Kevin holds you in high esteem. I'm to finally talk with you." |

"All we have to do now...is kill Xeios. The longer we leave him alive, the more chance we have of the vampires under his banner assisting him in the capture of Dalit. If we don't kill him, we have to awaken one of the leaders of the Aren clan. And their strength is legendary. I can try, but there's an amazing;y high chance I would be killed. The best course of action is to kill Xeios and appoint Chaos as the leader."
Jack's face had become stern. His current objectives were to protect Dalit, Kiera, and 369. The only way to do that would be to endanger them for a moment. Shit... |

Acorss the horizon glided the mech. Appoximately 18 meters in height, Adam grinned as he headed out towards teh Ullric Mansion. "I've got an old score to settle, Katsuyori! I'll pay you back in blood!" Revenge was on his mind. Too long has that punk been screwing with him, and now, he's going to pay the price. |
