Has anyone of you heard about EA games buying out poor gaming companies and making them better? They did that to the creators of Timesplitters and Splinter cell..

I heard they buy the company, fire all the workers, break apart the storyline, then rebuild the future games...(not previous games...)

I hope they dont buy Konomi or SquareEnIX...(MGS series and Final Fantasy)

What do yall think? (Yall, man im southern)

oh yeah, i got this information on OPM (Offical Playstation Magazine) #80-something... im going to try to find more information and update....::feels like a hacker...::

Eh, they're not making them better at all. They're basically erasing other smaller companies.

I've always hated EA personally. They've never made a "amazing" game in my opinion. And now with that NFL license they've just went through, only they can make NFL games with real athletes and stuff, a very sad move on the videogame community.

Seriously though, I don't know why you'd even think EA would be capable of buying out SquareEnix, Konami, or Capcom, Namco or any other HUGE company like so. I don't think that'll be happening for a very, very long time. (If ever, and if they did, I'm sure riots would begin)

Yeah, it wouldn't be possible for EA to buy Square Enix or any other big companies. There's the little matter of 'money' there - the bigger the company, the more money would have to be spent to buy them.

Here's hoping EA makes a console. It'd be better to throw their own console through the windows of their corporate offices. But, if not, there's always the Xbox. That thing would do some damage.

I used to say that too, but then my friend said "Think about it, if EA made their own system, in the end they would be losing profit and restricting their titles to only one console".

And we all know how greedy EA is.

I agree with Xeo, and go past it... as I have yet to ever play a single EA game that I thought was any good...

But yeah... the thinking that EA could buy out Konami or Square-Enix is about directly proportionate to the thinking that when gay marriage is allowed, then eventually straight marriage will be made illegal, I'm thinking.

I've played a few games that had EA's name on them that weren't bad, but those were mostly Sim___ games, which are actually made by Maxis and just published by EA, I think...
