| One of the monsters of rock, right up there with Ozzy, AC/DC, and Van halen.
If you cant find a motley crue song that you like then something is seriously wrong with you, lol. But in all seriousness the crue is one of my top bands. Their "dr feelgood" album was just awesome. And vince neil is the best rock vocalist ive heard. But its sad to hear one of them has bone cancer or something? i dont know if its true, my friend kyle told me that. any one know anythng about this? |

But there older stuff isn't too bad, and I like a few of there good classics like "Girls Girls Girls", of course.
I wouldn't compare them to Quiet Riot or The Scorpions, but they're not bad. |

But everything elses rocked  Dr feelgood being my fave, followed closely by Shout at the deivl.
But i got their 2 disc Red white and crue Cd. And its like a greatest hits kinda but their re did there old songs, changed guitar around and brought them to 2005, and they fucking rock. Just buy this set you wont regret it. | I've always thought the Crue sounded a tad generic, but from that most of their songs are likeable. They've probably never stood out much to me because they 'were' the standard of hair/glam metal. I was also less impressed with their new songs, less energy and more repetative chords. It would be interesting to hear that remake thing, Motley Crue with a super distorted sound is a very good idea. | |||

Motley Crue was one of the defing bands in the 80's. Hence why they are "one of the monsters of rock" Vince Neil who does their lyrics, and i think some composing. His voice has never been re made, ive never heard any other band even come close to his voice. So motley is -100% generic |
