It's a bit early, but I'll be out of town. I'm not sure if there are any dads who are active on our board, but oh well. Wish one to your hubby for us, True.
I celebrated early by getting my dad a few DVDs (Argo, Moneyball, and The Natural) and a card about a bear shitting in the woods, baking a Frito pie for lunch, and then my parents and I (Bran was at work) got dinner at Tilted Kilt. Good day. (Last edited by Rogue on 06-13-13 11:55 PM) |

I honestly don't know what to do for my dad. It's hard to get him gifts, it truly is. He's really anal about that sort of thing.
I will visit, probably be at the inevitable barbeque, and hopefully mom doesn't get hammered this year. At least me working for my dad the following week kinda makes up for my uncertainty. |

Still trying to figure out a menu for the guy. I totally will wish him a happy father's day for ya Rogue....
Like I said I have no clue what to make for father's day BUT... He loves DBZ and TFS DBZ Abridged. So I'm totally going to make him some creme brulee cake pops *smirk* |

My wife and I are celebrating with my parents and brother this year. I may get something of a gift "from the kitty" because he's my little boy. I'll probably get my dad some range time or something relating to the Civil War (he loves that stuff!). | |||

I sent my dad a gift box of BBQ sauces from Harry & David, which he said he cannot wait to try out. Hopefully they are as good as they sounded.

I celebrated today (Father's Day and Brandon's brother's birthday) by getting lunch in Kernville and walking along and in the Kern River.
Good day, and now I'm finally home. |

Please give the Brandon a hug and a happy day-late birthday wish from me!
That shot looks awesome, by the way. |

Originally posted by Elara It was his brother, Joey's, birthday. But I'll hug him for you anyway. We went to Ridgecrest for Joe's b-day and they only realized it was Father's Day after I mentioned I was going to miss spending it with my dad since we were going on the trip. Way too much driving. We got up there Friday night and then Bran and I were delegated having to drive down to Lancaster and back to pick up Brandon's dad's stepdad from the Antelope Valley Hospital. Then we drove to Whitney Portals and back to Ridgecrest. The drive to Kernville on Sunday was a couple hours one way on its own on top of driving home after that. |
