| This is something I've noticed in every Matrix movie (including the Animatrix), Sucker Punch, and countless movies, games, and anime shows -- the three-point landing.
I'd notice it all the time. Someone would do this crazy jump/fall and gracefully land -- sometimes genuflecting -- with their hand flat to the ground or in a fist, and then they'd do this dramatic look up. (Last edited by Rogue on 07-17-12 09:45 PM) |

| Yeah, I think it's just a mythical movie landing that's carried over into every aspect of pop culture like people slowly walking away from explosions.
I mean, it looks like it would work in theory if a person is lithe and light enough to not end up breaking their legs, but yeah, I just don't see it really working out. Maybe some parkour guys have done it? Hm. (Last edited by Rogue on 07-18-12 12:41 AM) |
