| Gonna watch episode 8 before I head to bed. I've had a lot to drink and this show is so amazing. Not joking.
And if there are two movies after this then I am psyched. Just about as psyched as Eden of the East I guess. But Gurren Lagann is something amazing. Is it available on Blu-Ray? Are you watching the dub though? Gross... don't wanna go all otaku on you but in this show "Aniki" > bro. I saw one episode of the dub and hated it, lol. But if it works for you whatever! The movies aren't super special or anything, since they're just the series condensed into two movies. But the second one has a lot of new footage apparently (confirmed by Nelrith!) and so I plan to check them out sometime for a quick refresh on the series. If you guys haven't seen it I think G Gundam is kind of equally as awesome. Not QUITE as over the top, but same kind of deal for sure. Epic manliness that explodes in your face. | G Gundam is basically DBZ with mech's. You must finish it! Gets amazingly good in the second half.

Maybe GaoGaiGar as well. Can you say no to this opening? More importantly though, have you seen Gunbuster? That IS the father of Lagann (comes from the same studio). An absolute must watch. It's a shorter OVA and the first few episodes will make you say WTF, then by the end of it you'll be in tears. |

I'm on episode 23 right now and I am not gonna say that the previous episode can't get any better. Cause I know it will. And it's gonna be like having a massive orgasm. 7:30 AM. Try that. GGG is a bit more childish but if you give it a few episodes and embrace it, it's awesome. By the end of it I freaking loved it. The commander of the good guys once activates something with a secret golf club key.
