| So you guys remember way back in the day when Tribes 2 hit the market and was played by just about everyone?
...you never heard of Tribes? Tribes was a FPS multiplayer game that was waaaayyyyy ahead of it's time. And is still played to this day via Freeware. If you never played Tribes 2. You are totally missing out and you have no excuse to not play this game. It's free and is not at all taxing on computers (The game is over 10 years old). Tribes 2 was revolutionary for it's time. With ridiculously huge maps, fast paced action, jetpacks, character loadouts, Base destruction, and a whole lot more. There was a damn good reason why Tribes was ranked within the top 25 PC games of all time. Well, after 10 years, the same company that made Tribes 2 got back together and have decided to make it's successor (Not the 3rd Tribes game. That was pure crap). That game is Tribes Ascend. | I'm pretty pumped as well, I just hope it's good ol' Tribes and still heavily team based.
The "sliding" maneuver was hilariously awesome topped off with the jetpacks. |
