| On at least a couple occasions, I've come without a couple feet of being hit by a car.
So my general rule is, look both ways before crossing the street, and KEEP looking both ways while doing it. Although, I could just be like one of my friends, who when she reaches a crosswalk, just goes straight through, not even watching for cars.  |

| I have seen worse than an accident. I watched first hand on a suicide attempt.
This happened about a month ago while I was heading to work. I wanted to be there a half hour early so I can get a quick bite to eat. But on the corner of Veterans Parkway and another street I fail to remember (On the left are train tracks). I was parked at a red light. A red Nissan truck in front of me suddendly gunned it and hit another vehicle going 40mph. Immedietly everyone around me got out of their cars to see if the man was alright. Thankfully, no one was killed. However, the driver whom accidently got the impact of the idiot had to be rushed to the hospital. The person attempting this was ok. Later it was shared as a story for the Ledger Inquirer saying that the man driving the truck was "At the end of his road" and is currently locked up. Pending sentence. There are some stupid people in this world. Also, never drink and drive. Ever. |

| Some douche hit their brakes at 60 MPH on the highway earlier today, all of a sudden, because there was a bump in the road. They slowed down to twenty, and because I was a safe distance behind them, I didn't hit their ass. But the person in front of me must have been looking for me to hit them, as they stared back at me and flailed their arms when my car came close.
Some fucking people. Anyways, accidents are terrible, and I'm glad I'm a good driver, and knock on wood I haven't been in an accident yet. |
