| Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes -- it's been a little hectic for me lately, so I haven't gotten a chance to reply. Well, I spent my b-day with my mother and brother (right now he's going through some rough times) and yesterday I spent the day with my mother in Connecticut.
Elara, yeah, I'm getting old, lol. I can't believe it's been almost seven years since I started posting on boards -- but as you get older, times goes by faster and faster, at least to me it has anyway. Kyoku -- Wow, you spent 6 months in Japan? That's great. How did your studying go? I'm amazed how much you've progressed now since you've written your birthday wishes in kanji. Keep up the good work. You are at a good age where you can learn so much about Japanese and Japan, so keep up the studying and you should be fluent in no time. Any questions you can ask me, ok? But then again, I might need to ask you questions, since you could get better than me!  |
