| Inspired by Stich's thread about getting a job, I began to wonder if anyone got a new job, or at least a summer job.
I work as an instructional assistant at a preschool, but I get laid off every summer and get rehired at the start of the new school year. Friday is my last day of work and I don't go back to work till August 25 or so. Sure, it's a nice summer break, but it also means no money for that period. So I found myself a summer job. Starting Thursday evening, I shall start my job at Medieval Times Times, working as a wench in the gift shop department! Yay for selling souvenirs for minimum wage! But hey, a job is a job! Anybody else out there getting a job? |

I was contemplating getting a job at Wawa wotking the night shift. I've bever actually had a job before, but I desperately need one. They'll definitely hire me, so hopefully the place doesn't get robbed over night 
That would scare the crap out of me. |

| Haha. Who wouldnt get scared if someone came in a store with a gun down your throat demanding money? What if they shoot me anyway? What if I'm not fast enough? What if the cops show up and I get shot in the process? Many things to worry about and be legitimately scared over. Haha
That place is always getting robbed, too. Luckily the cops are usually around there, as it's the only 24/7 Wawa with great service. But, there's still the above-posted reason. |

| I work in the desert as a full time 24 hour on call technician. We had a problem last night that called for a number of buttons to be pressed.
Took about four hours to figure it out. |

No desert for me, or bombs and such like True, but...yeah, GameStop is some serious business apparently. Why someone would put a store that made A LOT of money, in my neighborhood, without security constantly, is beyond me, and yet when I was 18, it was the first place that hired me (I didn't hear from any other place I applied for, even after following up on the applications until I was with GameStop for 6 months, and I had already been all promoted and given raises by then.)
Badass on the whole Wench thing though, Rose. <3 When you start, let us know how it is! Sounds like it'd be interesting to say the least. |
