It never ends. More and more irresponsible people are churning out kids (I'm looking directly at you, Nadya Suleman).

Now whether you think it's the kid's fault is debatable since he probably didn't know that's what he was doing and a baby would come out of it, but, for crying out loud, he was dating a 15-year-old. Why hadn't anyone taught him about condoms or at least to wait?

When asked by the reporter "What will you do financially?" he answered, "What's 'financially'?"

Look at him. His voice hasn't even cracked yet and he looks 8. Pictured below is him, the girlfriend, and their baby.

Now, I do applaud that when they discovered she was pregnant they decided not to abort; however, would they have been able to gauge the hardship they're facing?

I don't know. With him looking that young and just entering puberty, and a girlfriend who looks much older, I wonder if she cheated on him and he's stuck with this.

I'm sure the family would demand for a faternity test if they had any reason to suspect the child isn't his. Shit, they might have to ANYway, if they're going to need some sort of govenrnment assistance.

Paternity.

Also, this is pretty fucked up. How did a 13 year old and a 15 year old even end up together?

And since they're British, the word of choice is "chavs."

The more I think about it, the more I think she cheated on him.

EDIT: And now that I think a little more on it, wouldn't he have been 12 when they conceived? WTF?

I don't think she is ugly, and honestly that offended me Cyro. As for how a 13 year old and a 15 year old ended up dating... it is rather common for people to date other people who are two or so years apart from them, even in high school. What I find out about it is just how young he looks... I mean, he's 4 feet tall! I don't understand how he could have gotten a girlfriend at all, least of all one that would want to move so quickly with a boyfriend that looks like he's 8.

I do agree that it's really common to be dating people aged several years apart. My boyfriend from middle school to high school was 3 years older than I, and my mom is 4 years older than my dad. It's just how did a 12 year old (who probably looked even younger and was probably in elementary school) bag an older woman that looks that much older?

It sort of why I think she cheated on him.

It suddenly reminds me of this episode of the Simpsons where Bart got a driver's license, wandered off to another town, met a girl, they get together and suddenly she's demnding they get married. Why? Because she's pregnant and wants her baby to have a father.

While it's true that people date others with a few years of difference in their ages, you have to remember that as you get older, the significance of one year becomes less and less. So a 13 year old dating a 15 year old is stranger than a 15 year old dating a 17 year old, or a 17 year old with a 19 year old.

Sounds like a pretty stupid kid. That's something I'd expect an actual 8 year old to ask.

In any case, the story is pretty messed up. It cannot end well.

But yeah, check this shit out:

DNA test pending in case of 13-year-old father
21 hours ago

LONDON (AP) — A DNA test will be performed to determine if a 13-year-old boy fathered a baby with his 15-year-old girlfriend, his spokesman said Monday.

The test comes after a Sunday tabloid newspaper reported that other teenage boys have come forward claiming to be the father of the newborn baby girl.

Spokesman Max Clifford said the parents of Alfie, 13, said the tests would be done "as soon as possible" to determine paternity.

"He obviously believes he's the father," Clifford said. "I think that having read the News of the World yesterday, it would be prudent to have a DNA test."

The teenager's 15-year-old girlfriend, Chantelle, gave birth to the baby girl earlier this month in Eastbourne, 70 miles (110 kilometers) southeast of London. The couple made headlines in Britain when Alfie, who looks much younger than 13, posed on the front page of the tabloid Sun newspaper with the baby.

The story sparked a debate in Britain about the way children are treated by their parents and society in general.

On Monday the Press Complaints Commission said it had launched an inquiry into alleged payments by The Sun and the People newspapers to Alfie's parents. The newspaper watchdog said media guidelines stated that children and their parents or guardians must not be paid for material about their welfare, unless it was in the public interest.

The Sun said in a statement that it will cooperate with the inquiry and believes the story is in the public interest. The People newspaper was not immediately available for comment.

The local council where the teenagers live said it would offer them support and that they will continue to be monitored by social workers to determine what help they might need.

So 8 different guys have since stepped forward claiming to be the father of the baby, and to save face a judge has issued a media black-out on this story.

No one is allowed to publish the paternity results or anything new.

Judge rules to keep young father's story secret
By PAISLEY DODDS – 20 hours ago

LONDON (AP) — You can read the tantalizing tale but not its ending, a British judge has ruled.
A media blackout was imposed Wednesday on reporting new details in the case of a 13-year-old boy who reportedly became father.
Headlines around the world last week screamed "Father at 13," describing how the boy fathered a healthy newborn girl with his 15-year-old girlfriend — a story that sparked debate over Britain's high teen pregnancy rate.
Then the plot thickened.
Two other boys claimed they could also be the father, prompting 13-year-old Alfie to submit to a paternity test that is pending.
But under Wednesday's ruling, imposed by High Court Justice Florence Baron, journalists are prohibited from reporting any new details of the case — including any information that could prove or disprove Alfie's paternity.
Following a court hearing in private, a statement was read to reporters explaining the judge's reasons for making the order.
It said part of the reason was the young ages of the mother and father, and that "the private and family life of the mother and her baby has been disrupted to such an extent that the judge was concerned about the mother and baby being unable to live a normal family life." The judge was also reportedly concerned about the privacy of Alfie and the other potential fathers.
Reporting restrictions are increasingly common in Britain where judges can impose blanket bans on publishing details of cases.
In a past terror trial, a judge tried to impose a ban on reporting one of the suspect's sentences until all his alleged coconspirators were tried. The restriction was aimed at not prejudicing jurors but was eventually challenged and lifted.
In a current terrorism case, a British judge has barred journalists from calling it a retrial.
Alfie's publicist, Max Clifford, said the situation was strange.
"No one is allowed to say anything new," he said.

Well, so far it seems the American media who flourish under the First Amendment are reporting this was all a hoax.

Stories are pouring in from several American syndicates saying the 15-year-old
s grandmother wanted the family to cash in on a sensational story, told the girl to claim the 13-year-old was the father for the mere shock value. Apparently the Sun paid them a fuck-ton of money for the story and a bunch of networks are trying to get rights for documentaries.

Articles 2: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,495687,00.html

EDIT: So I was reading up on young fathers. Apparently little Alfie Patten is the SECOND youngest father on record. The youngest was 12: Sean Stewart of Sharnbrook, England. His 15-year-old girlfriend had their child in 1998.
