So I've been playing lots of Breakdown (Xbox). Awesome game for the most part.

TP: You definitely need to beat it. It's way more conclusive than most FF's if I remember right.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of FF games. FFT is one of favorite games ever, though. The rest? Meh. FF1 was my fav out of the numbered games before this. 9 has been quite fun!

I had an issue with scratches on Ace Combat 5, but Gamestop had this Disk Skip Fixer stuff. $3. Came with a little pouch of this odd brownish stuff and two cleaning cloths. Took me about 5 minutes to fix it, and worked perfectly.

Stop by your nearest video game store and see if they have anything similar. It should be pretty cheap, certainly cheaper than ordering a new copy of FFIX.

On a related note, I've been playing Ace Combat 5, now that it works again.

Hmm, have you played all of IV-VIII? Excellent stuff, but yeah there's plenty of JRPG's I prefer over the FF games. Breath of Fire IV, Chrono Cross/Trigger, Secret of Mana, Star Ocean 2, Suikoden games.... etc.

I'll restart us off with a huge word of warning, if anyone was interested in the new FEAR 2 single player DLC (Reborn), just know that you can finish it a little over an hour. An easy one sitting.

Been all over Castlevania again myself though. I finally got around to Order of Ecclesia and loved it, I think I'd say that's my favorite DS CV so far. I also finally discovered that I in fact never finished Circle of the Moon for some reason, even though I always remembered I enjoyed it and recommended it to others pretty often. So I started that up again today, already almost caught up to where I ended last time ... lol (~68%).

Also got Lament of Innocence. Been wanting to give the PS2 CV's a try even if they do seem to get a lot of slack. I enjoyed the N64 ones back in the day, so I figured what the heck? Gotta check them out for myself. So far I actually like it a lot, the only problem I'm having is getting used to a fixed camera again, it's been awhile!

Also got Xenosaga III via Gamefly, dunno when I'll dive into that though. Chances of me finishing any JRPG thesedays is pretty much next to -9000.

I've been playing shitloads of Okami. Superb game. ONE OF DA BESTEST. Gonna go for 100% Completion on it in one playthrough.~

Also on and off with like, Oracle of Ages. Not so much recently due to Okami yesss. I've kept it fun and interesting for myself by naming the 'chapters' of the story.

Was playing Mercenaries on that crazy RE5, but haven't gotten to play for a while...

The demo was epic as hell and I've only been hearing good things about it, media/review wise. It's in my Gamefly queue so hopefully I get it soon!

Love how they got all the voice actors from the 90's animated series.

The character himself... he's like the Duke Nukem of Castlevania. Haha, the story in that one is pretty thin but the gameplay totally rocks, it felt a bit more Metroid-ish than any other CV in my opinion. More platforming and powerups that let you get further in area's.

I'm currently at the final dungeon in Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World. Got my ass kicked by the first boss in there, and then barely lost the second time around.

Also playing Phantom Brave: We Meet Again, not very far in it.
