Drags on a bit, the main character is poopy, and could use a bit of a better battle system. Hell, classic turn-based should make a comeback.

As for Eternal Sonata, that one I really did like. I don't know what crack you're on, Xeo.

Update. It's been a while since I've had so much to vent about a game.

Enchanted Arms turned out to actually be a pretty decent game. However, the entire experience has mostly been ruined by the last boss, Queen of Ice. After a million failed attempts, I desperately sought to find tips. Every single one I read recommended I boost my character much much more, and some even suggest I get the "God Weapons", which requires a bunch of sidequesting. They also suggest getting some of the more capable Golems to use in my party, but they all start at level 1, so I don't have time to level them 44 levels.

The last boss should be difficult, but completely possible after going through the game normally. I've actually gone out of my way a bit to increase my main character's HP around 2500 more so he can withstand some attacks (he takes double damage from the Queen). Still nothing. I should also be able to be able to win with the Main Party just fine, not have to beef them all up by grinding and grinding. Grinding is supposed to come for the bonus dungeons!

Basically you play through the entire game smoothly, until you reach the last boss, where you hit a wall, and have to spend probably another 4-5 hours pumping up your characters. I can handle extra levelling for preparation. But not this much. =/

Rant done. I need me some Dead Space. Or NHL '09. Or Senko no Ronde. Etc.

I'm having a hard time choosing between Tales of Vesperia, Infinite Undiscovery, and Fable II as my next RPG.

I've heard IU hasn't gotten a lot of great reviews or something. Tales on the other hand is supposed to be really awesome from what I've heard.

Fable II is great, but it's really different. Definitely more of a Zelda-ish adventure/RPG game, if that means anything. I have really been enjoying it, but after awhile ... I'm not sure what happeneed but the game just started to kind of get annoying. It's really underpolished and almost feels like a last-gen game at times. The game freezes sometimes, it's laggy, texture popups, it just doesn't run very smooth and there's so many bugs it's crazy.

But definitely play it... it's just, yeah.

I just downloaded Beat for the PSP. It takes your songs and adds steps to them, creating a game similar to DDR or FFR. I'm trying to play every song I have on my memory card, to include a created song (which you can do in this game) so that I can mark it as "Completed" on my backloggery page.

Got a link? Sounds fun.

Meanwhile here, Dead Space is going deliciously.

DW: Gundam is fun. Hope you enjoy it.

I'm playing Medabots for GBA, Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan for DS (aiming for Completion), and soon gonna be playing some Super Famicom games that came in the mail not too long ago. Should be fun.

Completed Ouendan, and also Completed Tiny Toons Adventures (SNES) while I was at it.

Still playing Medabots and gonna finally Beat Maximum Carnage, but the real fun is with Pokemon LeafGreen. I'm working on a Master Run of the game: Fearow Only. I'll have Charmander and a water type in my team as HM Whores, but I will only battle with a Fearow. That's it. Should be good.

I'm really getting into The Last Remnant.

The game uses a "Union" system where instead of having single characters in combat, you have combined "Groups". A few of their stats are combined like HP and you control them as you would a single character in a traditional JRPG, but you get to see several characters attack and do things. You can also have multiple unions, I suspect that later on the game can get crazy. For instance just a few hours in I can have three Unions, each with 5 slots so I could potentially have 15 characters in combat. But you have to unlock "slots" and such, then they seperate some characters by Leaders and Recruits. Leaders are the obviously more powerful ones (and key characters) and at least one is needed per Union, though you can have more than one Leader in a group.

Yeah, no idea if that's confusing or whatever, but I really dig it. It's pretty unique.

The game has technical issues. I hear it's essential to install it to the HD, lots of texture popups and some loading screens (Unreal engine here ... for a SquareEnix game? yeah weird). My main issue is that the menu text is hard to make out, like most games thesedays that practically require an HDTV. The dialogue is easy to read though.

Overall though, past its faults I'm really starting to like it.

Does Last Remnant have terrible loading issues? Ie, lots of loading screens? I heard from one fellow that it did.

Still looks sweet, though. Another 360RPG I need to play.

It does have a lot, though installing the disc certainly helps. It was noticeable at first but it hasn't bothered me too much.

It's weird though in some dungeons/area's you'll get the loading screens for battles and in some other places you won't, the screen will just do its "encounter" flash thing and then a few seconds later you'll be in a battle. I just thought that was really weird.

Loading battles isn't too bad, which is what I'd say could be the main issue.

Ace Combat, Mount & Blade, and Freelancer.

Ace Combat 5 and Zero, specifically. 4 will come Friday when I get a bit more cash. I traded in a few games I never played and, for lack of any better ideas, I grabbed AC5. A few days later, ACZ, and soon AC4 - to say the least, I like these games.

And just like in Freelancer, my aim sucks but my dodging is good.

I haven't played Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness for a LONG time. Since I've play Touhoumon before, during, and after work, it's time to sit on my couch and play my Gamecube again without hassling around my laptop and my flash drive with the game and save file included.

I've still cannot beat the Third Trainer in the Orre Colosseum with this LIGHTNING ROD team. Until I have the following teams below

Aerodactyl
Houndoom
Starmie
Marowak
Milotic
Manectric

Only then I can beat his Lightning Rod team, but his final team with Tauros and Snorlax are the pain in the ass. Especially Latios and Latias which my Ice attacks couldn't take them out in one hit. Gengar is too easy to beat with Starmie's Psychic. Metagross is WAY TOO HARD with Meteor Mash being in play. Houndoom couldn't stand a chance due to Earthquake from Tauros while Metagross protected itself.

By the way, the Third Trainer's Team contains of Manectric, Starmie, Lapras, Gyarados, Marowak, and Dodrio.

The Second Trainer with all legendaries, Aerodactyl and Marowak are always my combos. Since Raikou and Zapdos most likely to use Thunderbolt on Aerodactyl, it will always target Marowak instead. Starmie and Manectric are my backups. Damn Suicune. Suicune is too hard to beat unless a Double Thunderbolt from Starmie and Manectric. Talk about too much damage to Suicune from Manectric's Same Type Attack Bonus boost.

The First Trainer, Too rough sometimes. Even Heracross's Endure and Snorlax's Selfdestruct made Heracross survive so it can do Reversal with Salac Berry involved. Shedinja, I have to rely on Crunch from Houndoom (Flamethrower too) and Manectric, Aerodactyl's Anceintpower, and Marowak's Rock Tomb.

I have a tough time trying to beat that one mission, but even though I do finish Pokemon XD, I have to collect all the Battle Discs too.
