BIC: Gregory continued without missing a beat. "Yeah, but my presence instantly works FOR you. I'm sure they could just bomb your transportation and be done with you. You need to have something that makes you worth keeping alive." His smile widens. "That would be me." Seifer quickly entered the armory's storehouse, with Tobias right behind him. "Alright, we're looking for mobility and defense here." Seifer grabbed onto one of the edges of the tall shelves. His eyes were locked on a group of boxes several feet out of reach. They closed and he focused his mental energy. Just like he'd practiced. Almost exactly like it used to be. And with a thud, the boxes hit the ground. Tobias lifted his hand and the boxes levitated in place. Seifer's satisfaction quickly dissapated. "Alright, Tobias. That should be enough for everyone." |

He'd been making phone calls during the entire drive as he drove at full speed, hoping to contact Alden or Holly. He hadn't talked to either of them in years, and lost contact. He hung up the cell phone, and almost as soon as he hung up, and rang. He answered on the first ring. "Hel-" "Brad! They're here, come help us!" He heard a loud gunshot in the background, "They've already taken our daughter!" "Wait, what's going on?!" he shouted. "No...no...NO! Get off me!" "What's going on?!" He heard another shot, and it was silence. With a snarl, he turned his steering wheel recklessly, and started driving towards home, full speed ahead, praying that he'd make it in time... |
