Not really sure. I'm not much of a fan of those Quaker Oats ones where they try to stick a few teensy chocolate chips in it and say it's a treat. They all seem to taste the same.
I don't really pick up these things. If I eat them it's because someone gave them to me. Oh and not really a fan of SoyJoy. They kept giving us sample bars when I was working Wizard World Anaheim some years back. Actually reading the label would have been a bummer for vegans because I think there were eggs and other things in there, which seems contradictory to the point of making a soy-based sugary What did you think of the last movie you watched? |

Well, the last movie I watched at all was Desolation of Smaug so I was fairly pleased and entertained by it.
Last movie I saw in theaters was Rise of the Planet of the Apes and I found it interesting. I was kinda hoping it would do a bit more than it did in advancing the apes, but overall I liked the film. How often do you do laundry? (Last edited by Elara on 07-26-14 08:38 PM) |

Brandon does the laundry (I cook), and he pretty much does it at least twice a week or so, depending on what we need. It's handy having a washer and dryer in the house.

Hmmm, an interesting one is being an adult now and seeing how my parents lives differ so much from their siblings. Sometimes I get too caught up in believing others shape who you are, which I think is true to an extent... but this just all puts more emphasis on the fact that your life is yours and you have control of your own destiny. Nobody can shape you into what you aren't.
Weird... but fits the question I guess? What's your favorite superhero costume? |

It varies from time to time, but at the moment I would probably actually have to go with a villain costume to be honest: Loki.
I like green, what can I say? It's simple, it doesn't have peck muscles sculpted into it... I just like it. What do you think of the changes that they have made to Wonder Woman's costume for the new Batman vs Superman movie? |

I'm amused everyone says she looks like Xena now. Not surprised.
I really don't have an opinion of the way Gal Gadot looks in it. Go her for exercising and getting muscle tone, though. How often do you consult Yelp.com? |

Pretty often actually, a lot of the places around here are hit and miss or just invisible, so it helps when looking for food places. It's how we found the Indian food place down in Cranberry that we love.
Of all the different types of dragons that have been described over the ages and cultures, which type is your favorite? |

I'm really not up on dragons. I mean, I like them and all, but I don't know types that actually come out of mythology or literature.
So... I took one of those personality quizzes regarding dragons and got a Khioneus or "snow dragon." So yeah... that. I like when things don't go the usual route, and I do actually prefer cold to hot. It fits. What's some place you've been meaning to try, but haven't gotten around to it? |

Oh wow... there have been a few of those. Mostly breweries down in Pittsburgh that I cannot afford to go to like Churchworks. There really isn't a whole lot of things around here otherwise that I have not tried.
Is there any particular topic that makes you auto tune-out the second someone starts talking about it? |

I shy away from talking about health, in general, but mostly when topics like cancer and diabetes pop up. Heaven help everyone should people start talking about diseases and medical conditions they've got.
I'm a HUGE hypochondriac, and while I'm trying to take better care of myself, I know that with Mom and Dad having cancer and diabetes, respectively, I know that I have to watch out for those things and I get jittery when those topics come up. I feel like diabetes needs the same treatment AIDS is getting, wherein people are told to be less ashamed of it. Both can be the result of poor life choices (not always, obviously), and neither are as deadly as they used to be considered. What's the last thing you dressed up for? |

Yeah, I can agree with that sentiment. Not all people are diabetic because they can't eat healthy.
The last ti me I dressed up was for the failed attempt at formal night on the honeymoon cruise (the drycleaner apparently ruined Ben's suit or Joseph A. Bank uses shitty thread for their buttons). At least I have a picture of me looking all pretty. Turkey bacon or pork bacon? |

Pork bacon. Turkey bacon tends to be loaded with preservatives and other things to give it a longer shelf life and such. Not that pork bacon is any healthier, but I'd rather eat the real thing in moderation.
Hong Kong or Bollywood films? |

That is a tough choice, but I think I will go with Hong Kong over Bollywood just because I tend to think Bollywood is over the top in a less entertaining way.
What type(s) of hot sauce do you use? |

My current favorite is Gringo Bandito, which I mix into ranch dressing for the best dip for my onion rings when we go out for burger night. Otherwise I like green sauces.
I do like sriracha, though I mostly only use it when we occasionally get Hawaiian food. Not really a fan of Tapatio or Tabasco. Are you good at ping pong? |

HAHAHA
No... no I am not. How often do you forget your own password? |
|||

I used to use roughly the same two or three passwords for everything. Now they're all just mish-mashes of letters, capitals, and numbers. I should probably change them all again. Ugh...
I do occasionally forget, but if anything I get my Gmail and Facebook passwords mixed up. I'll keep getting the Invalid Password screen for Gmail and then go, "Oh right, that's Facebook's." Do you hate when people brag online about hitting the gym or exercising? |

Nah, because I'm entertained when people like to overcompensate. Granted, I'm pretty physically fit thanks to fencing, but I'm not going to go around posting about it, haha

Nicholas Brendon from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I saw him a few months ago at Steel City Con... man he did not age well.
How many books are in you "To Read" pile? |

There's no way of knowing the exact number. I've got two books I'm waiting on from the library for my book club, and I'm #108 on the waiting list for October's ("All the Light We Cannot See" by Anthony Doerr).
Then I'm in the middle of six books right now ("Pride and Prejudice and Zombies," "The Agony and the Ecstasy," "Songs of the Vikings: Snorri and the Making of Norse Myths," "The Unwritten" vol 9, "Albion" and the one I'm desperate to get through before the library takes it back since it's new and there's a long wait list for it: "Rogues" with stories by GRRM, Neil Gaiman, etc). I have so many books on my mental list, it's ridiculous. What's your favorite post-apocalyptic story? |

I honestly don't know. I mean, there are the fantasy ones like the main backstory for the Golarion campaign setting, there is the Cobalt Nightmares plot I helped come up with... and then there are things like Planet of the Apes..... I don't really know if I could chose just one. Kind of a cop out, but I really can't.
What were your thoughts on the suicide of Robin Williams? (it's what is on my mind at the moment) |
