If you had a machine that could refine urine to drinking water would you still consume your filtered urine? (The beginning of "Waterworld" still bothers me for some reason)

Never saw Waterworld, but it sounds similar to the suits the Fremen wear in Dune.
Depends on my environment.

YES. Because there are several things I want to do and international waters has always been the answer. One day... oh, the plans I have.

I'm currently freelancing for no pay as a photog for a metal band, and as a writer for a school paper. In both instances I off-and-on love what I'm doing, but at the same time they are non-paying right now.

Yesterday was a serious love day for writing.

If you had to write a paper on one comic book legend who's changed the face of the comics industry without wanting to be like everyone else and do Alan Moore, Neil Gaiman, and Stan Lee, who would you pick for your project?

(I'm writing on Harvey Pekar right now. Paper's due in a couple hours)

Not sure since I have so many. But the first name to pop in my head was James Hetfield (probably because I was just listening to him in the car). I really love his voice, singing, talking, watchever. Even though he's from the town north of mine, he has a slight Southern-ish accent and that one of my many fetishes.

His voice is just so comforting for me for some reason.

Why did this thread die?

Probably throw out money. Every time I clean my room, I throw out all of the change I find except for quarters. I'm lazy about keeping change. I hate it for some unknown reason.

For some reason Ohio is the "indicator" of how people vote in elections. Analysts (and politicians) like to pay attention to FlOhPa (Florida, Ohio, and Pennsylvania), the swing voting states that change which way they vote with every election. Since they do that, the politicians love to go after them and make promises while the larger states like California and Texas, which tend to lock in for one side early on, get ignored.

... ugh.
