| Two years ago, I decided that I was going to write a book from an RP I ran a long time ago. Well everyone, two years and 323 pages later, my book is now written!
For the next several months, I plan on doing a lot of editing, then I'm going to try and submit this book to a publisher, probably Tor or Ace. But yeah, the book is written! Hurray! |

For those of you that don't want to read badly written posts, my book is basically about a man who killed a dragon being mutated so that he loses almost all of his memory, but has most of the benefits a dragon would have, such as really strong skin, being able to breath fire, and a lot strong than a normal human being. After killing the ragon, he loses consciousness and stays asleep in a cave for ten years. When h awakes, he discovers that some guy is trying to kill him going to almost any length to do so. Also, demons are supposed to be found in many places, killing people. Anyone who wants to read the first part of it can look here, http://board.xeogaming.net/thread.php?id=9019 Anyway, most of the characters and the mythology are based on norse mythology, with enough alterations to make it unique. In other words, I've made it so that elves and dwarves are both human, but they're different races of human. I've also done a ton of research in order ot geth this book done(common formations in medival warfare, how to use weapons, heck, even how they cooked. ) So basically, I managed to make this book as realistic as possible, with the exception of magic.(Last edited by Vulkar on 01-03-08 04:41 PM) |

Fun fact for everyone, my book was originally started with three writers, one of whom was Ryan. Ryan gave out first, after writing about ten pages and then growing bored. The other person(Aubrey) I haven't talk to in ages, but last time I did, insisted that she stilled wanted to be writing. That was several months ago, and I doubt she's done anything.
Also, yeah, I do hope to make money on this thing. I imagine that writing it alone is good for some nice bonus points when I apply for college. |
