Spartan was quoting Clockworkz and making the mod comment, glad your egotistic mind assumed he was referring to you. And he quoted the entire rule, of which part of it says 1337 speak. The rest, does not. By your logic, I could take your quote from the faq and say "He wasn't sucking up." because that's exactly what you did. Not only that, let's take a look at the irony of what you've said in this thread. You tell Spartan to not act like a mod when, this entire thing was started by you acting like a mod. Not only that, but by telling me not to tell people how to post... You're telling me how to post. Hm... I really don't feel like counting here but that's essentially a list of several hundred languages used in the world today. Chances are not everyone on this board has absolutely perfected English and contains flawless grammar, actually that's every single member on the board here that doesn't. no298 unealess adsometne waz postinasd lik di8z o0r osometnnaging - then I have never understood why people insist on correcting someones posts, spelling, grammar, whatever. Just stop. Now as the owner and a moderator of several boards throughout time I have got to say, by far one of the most annoying things in arguements over messageboards is when people quote/refer to the FAQ like it's the almighty original Ten Commandments that everyone in the world believes in. Not everyone in the world believes in it! We didn't even write the FAQ and regardless if we did the first rules would be 1) Use common sense and 2) These rules can be entirely subjective, unless I find a way to clone myself 12 times and make only my clones staff, all moderators are going to have different opinions on how to handle things and regardless AGAIN, common sense comes into play above anything else. Also since I've seen it more than a few times ... please DO NOT throw yourself in a situation that doesn't involve you at all!! Do we have "gangs" here at the board or something? If people are in an arguement that doesn't concern you at then why do you have the urge to come in and make yourself look downright terrible!? -Especially- if you're just going to come into a thread and add absolutely nothing to the topic at hand and rather, just throw out a random rebuttal. How come I can? I'm the boss and the moderators are the ones who have the right to set things straight as well. Does this mean only staff can be helpful? NO! Any member on the board can be. But there's a fine line between being a prick and actually being insightful, it's not hard to be polite. As the saying goes if you don't have anything good to say then just don't say anything, don't waste your time making yourself look bad. Basically the staff are the staff. I hope this gets a message across and it should be clear who I'm directing these points towards. From here on this is about Fennicy's art and I'm very sorry this topic was derailed like it was. And for the love of God, for once I will just ask that people DO NOT contact me about this over AIM or anything from here on in this topic, it shouldn't be hard to put in the past and just forget about! It's not a big deal! Though certainly things needed to be set straight here and I surely hope they were. The End. |

| See, I wish you hadn't colored it. It kinda ruins my gift for Nagis... >> For example you forgot to color the tips of the ears black and inside the eyes around the pupils was supposed to remain white. Also some of the folds on the shirts don't show up anymore. Err and the buttons are supposed to be part of Nagis's shirt with the bit after that also part of Nagis's shirt.
So could you PLEASE take it off? Anyways I don't really think it matters in an art thread how posts are written. Please don't worry about it. Edit: Some more things is that you colored the guys pants the same color as his shirt and Fennicy's hair is originally red. | Hmmm....only thing that kinda...doesn't seem right is...Nagis' head is a bit bigger than is should be it seems...I don't know though. Could be just me.
Other than that...It's really cute. It does kinda of remind me a little of Inu Yasha and Ranma....but...I don't know. In certain situations, that type of artwork is quite charming, and naturally, I think you've captured just that. "cute" doesn't even seem to cut it..."Charming"...I think I nailed my opinion there.  (And in case both of our definitions of those words are different, from my side, "charming" is the better one, so no worries. ) |
