| Fuck fuck fuck fuck FUCK giving cats baths. They're freaking self-cleaning, damn it and it's unnatural to apply soap to cat hair, but with Tiki's appointment to get spayed tomorrow and the vets insisting that we have to bathe her the day before taking her in, we're stuck fighting it.
Yeah, there's no escaping getting deep clawings and punctures with that pussy. Miko used to just sit in the tub and take it, because she knew it would be over soon. Tiki takes it like we're really drowning her, even just sitting in an inch of water while soaping her up and lightly pouring water over her. We freaking even taped socks on her front legs. Damn things came off halfway through. Commence battling a fur bag with 4 sets of 5 meathooks. Who knew she could still take you out with her back paws too? | Well, it's not necessarily a "Fuck you!" so much as a "WTF?!?!?!" but while walking around the mall on a night off, Brandon and I happened into a GameStop. I was interested in playing the Dante's Inferno or God of War 3 demos, if they had them (which they didn't), so I started playing the Katamari Damacy demo instead.
To my right, on the other side of the entrance, is a 4-foot-tall, VERY, VERY obese girl (around 10 years old and at LEAST 200 pounds) trying to play with the Wii and can't figure out how to work Super Mario Brothers. She's wearing a tiara and eating ice cream. Her dad (an overweight, but not obese guy) comes by and starts going on about how Nintendo sucks and how Xbox is better and she should be playing that. Anyway, he pulls his daughter along and he stands behind me, making indistinguishable comments. "... What is she playing?" then to me. "What are YOU playing?!" "Katamari Damacy," I say. "REPEAT that!" "Oh, it's uh Katamari Damacy," I say a bit loudly. "Dome-assy," he goes, as though he's heard of it and understands now. "What is that?!" "Oh, uh... it's kinda weird, I guess. You're trying to roll things up and collect them." "Like food?" "Yeah, there's some of that in there." "See, this kinda stuff is why I think kids should be out, playing in the park," he says rather snidely to me, as he pulls his daughter along and tells her Xbox is a better console anyway and they should be playing the demo station. ... | Ugh.. fuck having to write an 8-page paper on what MY PROFESSOR thinks of two books we had to read for his class. I just wrote my own analysis.
In the process of writing a BS paper, I'd forgotten to do a take-home midterm for another class. Thankfully the teacher of that class was VERY understanding (possibly because she doesn't like the professor who assigned the previously mentioned essay) and said she would let me make it up next week with a few points subtracted. Fuck my inability to sleep in. It seems like no matter what time I finally get to sleep, I wake up at 8 a.m. Even when I wake up, thinking it's 8, I try to go back to sleep and when I finally get up, I'll check the time and realize I woke up at 7:50 or something. I'm not getting enough sleep. Even with thick curtains drawn, I can't seem to wake up after 8:30. |

Fuck feeling like I'm not getting any respect. I give my all and it's never enough. Fuck depression on top of it all. A woman killed herself at school today by jumping off one of the parking garages. She was 52, menopausal, depressed, and it wasn't her first suicide attempt. I interviewed a witness who seemed very close to crying. |

| Brandon was telling me that there are several supervisors who pride themselves on being over-dressed because they feel they are supposed to be reflections of the government and this is an official thing, yadda yadda yadda.
When he and the rest of them were getting fingerprinted it happened to be Casual Friday so he showed up in a T-shirt and jeans while a few of them (both men and women) came in three-pieces suits. They started making snide comments to each other about the way he was dressed saying things like, "It's a shame some people aren't taking this as seriously as they should be." Oh well... FUCK not being able to find the one book I need for my take-home final. All the stores don't carry it. All libraries in the area either don't carry it or it's checked out. The campus books store and the nearby textbook store are out of copies. Motherfucker. EDIT: FOUND ONE!!
