| I don't know what's going on in this video.
So many are speculating that Pluto was playing tag or something of the nature playing with the kid and an adult interfered, taking the entire interaction the wrong way and pushing Pluto. Many are saying that he fell off the curb. And others, who are in the minority, are saying this was completely sinister. You will notice, though, Pluto isn't actually making an effort to catch the kid. He's keeping a consistent distance away from the kid. If he really wanted to catch him, he probably could have done it quite easily. According to the person who uploaded the video, Pluto went to get a Disney employee and the "fight" was settled peacefully. I dunno. It probably wouldn't have escalated to much if the woman with the camcorder didn't pull the Pluto aside. Then again, I wonder what her tape looks like. (Last edited by Rogue on 09-14-07 10:51 PM) |

| Here is another problem, where in the world is the Costume coordinator when all this was happening? Whenever you see a character, you should be able to see a costume coordinator keeping tabs on the characters. Such as if they have a problem, they give out an expression to let the people watching them know that something is wrong and they need to switch out and take a break.
But if something like this were to happen, in FRONT of me of all things, I would be shocked. I was never in charge of characters, but I was able to communicate with some of them while in uniform. I know just about all the gestures trained for Frontierland and Mainstreet (Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto), but the expressions looked like s/he was just pissed off. Edit- My manager saw the video and knows no information. Plus this was in the California Disneyland park. And he said the same thing I was. So his guess is that he is out of location, or he was chasing him for fun. Because if a fight like that were to actually occur, a coordinator would have saw it and stopped it immediately.
