For me, one of the biggest is Mrs. Doubtfire. Not only is it one of Robin Williams' best movies, and one of the closest I've seem to a perfect movie, but ever since my parents split up, it's kinda touched home for me. Especially his little speech at the end.

So, do you have any movies that really touch you deep inside?

Jurassic Park.

Yeah, when they first come up on those hills and see the Branchesaureses(sp?) and the doctor tears, I feel like tearing too. I don't know why but its been like that ever since I first saw it when I was like 5.

Just been a big dinosaur fan I guess ... I can't explain it?

And I'm a killer for romances.

Why did she bring Tod back to the wild? Even though I have almost all of the Disney movies in my collection, I have never actually seen the Fox and the Hound.

For me, I always shed massive tears of joy and sadness when Peter re-learns how to fly in Hook, like when he's going over all of his personal tragedy and in it all, he realized his happy thought.

I get the same way during the flying shot in Finding Neverland, just as Peter proclaims, "To die would be a great adventure."

Peter Pan has just always been something that tickled my imagination and reminds me of my own childhood. I guess the idea of growing up still makes me sad.

The last major film, though, that I felt I truly identified with and touched me in such a way that I was stunned with recognition and suddenly epiphany was when I rewatched American Beauty a couple months ago. The ending just hit me.

Here's that scene from Hook that always used to get me. It was cut in two parts, though:

Wow, there are so many I really can't pin point them. I cried in both Hook and the Fox and the Hound. Though I remember crying so much when I was watching Armageddon when Bruce Willis' character was left behind to detonate the bomb and his life flashed before his eyes. What really got me is when he saw his daughter in her wedding dress.

Very, very, very few movies actually get to me.

However, of those that do, I'd have to name Gladiator. It has a lot of emotion, and great acting. It's one of those few great movies tht can really touch you emotionally.

I don't really know of any others. I enjoy a lot of movies, but I rarely feel that much emotion towards them.

Gladiator was definitely powerful. I don't think I've ever hated a villian as much as I did the Prince-King in that one.

I have to add A.I. But only the first time I saw it. I actually cried at the part where the mother comes back (oops, spoiler. But it is 7 years old...) But the second time I saw it the movie was terrible to me, but that last scene still touched me (didn't cry though). Of course, I'm sick of the movie because after 2 years of film, and the teacher using clips from that movie each year...

This isn't a movie, but today we put on the class play for drama, that we'd been working on for about a month (longer if you include writing it). The play was pretty much terrible, for reasons I'm not going into, but the last scene where Jeremy (incredible actor in our class. He'll be famous one day.) totally breaks down when his girlfriend gets killed. I was stunned. I filmed the performance, but unfortunately it died before that scene. I'm going to try and get them to redo that last scene so I can show it to you guys, and the rest of the world...
