The only dedicatedly anime ones I've really been to, though, are Anime Expo (AX) and Pacific Media Expo (PMX). I've been to AX five years running, not only as a fan, but an exhibitor and in the most recent years as a volunteer.

Other cons I've been to or frequent: 
- San Diego Comic-Con -- 5 years
- Wizard World L.A. -- 4 years (it started 4 years ago)
- Rocky Con (Cirque du Rockeil, to be precise) 
- Strategicon -- Lost count of how many times I've gone 
- Bruce Con (Also called L.A. Sci-Fi and Fantasy Con) -- Also lost count
- Gen Con 
- LebowskiFest -- 2 years 
- Xena Con

I've also done fan gatherings like Labyrinth Masquerade (with WhiteRose and Elara), the 30th anniversary Hollywood Bowl show for the Rocky Horror Picture Show (danced in the world's largest Time Warp), the Mallrats Reunion, cosplay parties, zombie walks, and such.

mcw Posts: 37/38	this weekend i'm going to seattle to sakuracon with a few friends it'll be the first anime convention i've ever gone to. i'm not really big on conventions, but i figured it's a good excuse to spend time with friends, so i'm going. what about you folks? have you been to any conventions or ever wanted to go? i never wanted to because it didn't appeal to me much, but being with friends is cool.
