Originally posted by BBQMissile Whatever. I didn't say that it was a exact version. Oh yeah, when I said almost the same, I meant similar. In my own opinion, I was comparing between the actual event and what happened in the show. One with hacker trying to override the remote source. And we got our version; passengers trying to prevent the terrorists from gaining control. Similarity, not exactly the same. And let me say this: This is entirely MY opinion of similarity. Don't need to take it far and twist my words. |

Originally posted by Seticus not really. Something was up with my speakers so i couldn't hear the dialogue very well but it seemed as if the plane in the clip was being controlled by some remote source. That's why that hacker dude was getting all worked up in front of the comp. Meanwhile, irl, this was not the case. |

If any... I wouldn't say it's creepy at all.
In fact, I happened to semi-predict something BAD (yep, I saw this coming as well) 3 days before it even started (and it was also at that time where I started in 8th grade middle school). However, after 3 days, when I was watching a cartoon, the news interrupts the cartoon and I kind of thought that I happened to feel that something like this would happened. The 8th Grade didn't grant us to go to Washington D.C. because of the 9/11situation at the time. Instead, we could go to Chicago but... Needless to say, it was disappointing. But damn, the video... Just almost the same way except for the ending. |

This is one eerie coincidence.
These are select clips from the pilot episode of "The Lone Gunman," a spin-off from "The X-Files" featuring everyone's favorite computer-hacking conspiracy theorists: John Byers, Melvin Frohike, and Richard Langly. Air date: March 2001 EDIT: Sorry, typo in the title. |
