Lily is adorable, Byte!

I have two cats, Plop and Oz

Really old and bad pic, but it's what I have.

I wish I had a dog, though. My cats are annoying as fuck and stink. At least dogs go to the bathroom outside.

I have one dog. A McNab. I would not be surprised if none of you have heard of it. I talked to a guy who is a vet and he had never heard of a McNab before. Since my dad is kinda anal retentive the dog doesn't come inside the house. It sleeps in the garage. It's extremely energetic and if possible it would proably play fetch till it died of exhaustion.

Despite it being against the law to bury your pets,

wait, what?

In many cities (or at least mine), it's illegal to bury your animals within the city limits when they die. You're supposed to surrender them to the authorities and they will dispose of them "correctly."

That really sucks. I have a cat that I care so much about, and I couldn't imagine not living with him.

As for the burying pets thing: I didn't know that was illegal. Also, there are pet cemeteries....

We've got four animals, and they all annoy the hell out of me in different ways. Luna, our bigger dog (half pit bull, really friendly though) is usually calm, but she gets in my wall all the time, and keeps pushing past me on the rare occasion I talk to my mom. Very protective, which could potentially be a good thing I suppose, if she was a bit more threatening. Mickey, the smaller dog (and our smallest pet since mom's mouse died), is a small dog. With a very annoying bark. And she demonstrates this often. Of our two cats, Twilight's the more destructive, he's damaged the doorframes quite a bit trying to get into my room. Magic, our younger cat, isn't too bad when he's not breaking things. But, he broke his leg a while back (back when he was a kitten), and now I guess he thinks he needs to break 1/4th of everything else we've got to make it even.

Of all the animals, I probably like Twilight the most, even if he is a destructive, noisy little pest.

I'm bumping this to make a sad announcement. My cat, Fappy/Tuxedo (he had two names), died today.

We don't know what of, we simply found him sprawled out on my porch. I'm just glad he had made it home and didn't just disappear like my other cat, Harrison, did.

Despite it being against the law to bury your pets, Zoso and I dug a hole for him under the tree he loved to take naps under all the time and lovingly placed him in the ground. No way in Hell I was going to turn him over to the authorities who would just incinerate him or shred him up for fertilizer.

Zabuza made this video quite some time ago of my two cats and one of Zoso's. Ironically, both Fappy and Willie are no longer with us, and the song paired with the shots of Fappy made me break down a little:

Adorable my ass. They stink and I'm stuck with the chores of it while my sister is away. I hate that thing. *points to the lizard* That thing will not be allowed in my house.

I prefer cats too... They're much cleanlier, and they don't knock you over... They're only noisy when they're hungry, and not for no fucking reason.

That and they reduce your blood pressure and people who have cats live longer...

That's why you allways see a really really old lady with 235238453 cats!

Yeah, I just got a battle scar around my right elbow. Its still clearly visible where the dog completely "bit" into me (teeth mark scars).

Either way, I've always prefered cats.

And someday I'd like a Gecko / Iguana.

We have 3 dogs that I don't care about at all.

- Noisy
- Stinky
- Get in the way
- [insert my story about how I got attacked by a Rot Riler in 5th grade]

We did have 2 cats that maybe some of you remember me talking about them. I loved them to death, mainly because they were pretty much "my" cats. I even had to keep them in my room during a few times for stuff. But yeah, then it turned out my mom was allergic to animal hair or something.

I don't know what it was, but in the end it didn't make much sense to keep the dogs too (parents got rid of my cats).

venomous snakes can be de-fanged in certain states...but they are still assholes

and yes, they usually want to be left alone...but they will only act up in response to certain stimuli (food, enemy and anyone near their food) so it is usually pretty easy to tell whats bugging them

So there's no such thing as a nice cobra? That's a shame.

what you are looking for in an affectionate snake is one that does a whole lot of lying around rather than one that activly stalks food. one of the reasons ball pythons are as docile as they are, is that their hunting method involves hiding along a game trail waiting for food to come to them...so basicly they sit around, also they get big enough to not have to worry about natural predetors too much. but others are active mousers and they can get testy as a defense mechanism. for instance pine snakes are known for hissing and shaking and puffing when they are perturbed (even though usually they dont actually strike, though they can) because they are trying to appear venomous.

Isn't possession of most poisonous snakes downright illegal? What do you do when your snake is acting up? Just give it some space and time?

They get mad if you feed them in a certain place? And about the paper shredder note, does that mean English Language and Compostition does in fact have a calling?
