Liam Neeson is a FANTASTIC actor by the way. I love him.

Darth Maul...was badass indeed, as Mayuri put it. Though, I must disagree with you on one thing there Colossus...I think that the fact that he didn't get much screen time made him all the more intriguing. Sith being shown in such a light was new to the Star Wars movies. The jedi and sith had all been wiped out, remember? 'Cept Vader and Emperor Sidious...and the jedi had been talked about much more in the original trillogy and you got to see a lot of it through Luke as well, remember?

So sith was a new thing, to me at least (I'm not that into the Star Wars Universe. I stick with the movies and that's it pretty much), and I dunno...just the way they kinda teased viewers with the character...I thought it was genius.

Feel free to disagree though. :p

R.I.P Liam Neeson...

One thing that really bugged me about Ep. I was that they hyped Maul up sooo much, and he what, 5, 10 minutes of screen time. And one line. What a ripoff...

V: It had Darth Vader being the guy in control, rather than the second in command, or the muscle who has a dirty helmet.
VI: Darth Vader was still cool, though not as much, The the entry and exit into the death star were awesome.
IV: A good story, and introduced the characters well. Ther personalities were just right, and it was all done well.
III: Emotional, good story, terrible writing. Were the writing any good, it would have been on top. It would be even higher on my list of movies if the battle droids were done right.
II: The Yoda fight scene, what tops that?
I: Jar Jar ruined it, plain and simple. However, I did enjoy Darth Maul as he killed one jedi, and nearly killed another.

**kills Shaddow**

Sorry. It had to be done.

I'd say "Return of the Jedi" is my favorite, and all the others are kinda equal. I guess. When I was little, for some reason, "Empire" didn't appeal to me as much, but as I got older, I grew to like it more and more. "Clones"...Merh...but for some reason I'm like that...the middle story of a trillogy is kinda...ehh. Best part about "Clones" was of course, the battle with Yoda...but not just cuz it's Yoda, but because after all that flipping out, he picked up his cane again. XD

"Phantom" I LOVE. People say it's too "kiddish", well...I was 11 when it came out, so...I was at that age. Even though I'm older now, when I watch "Phantom", I still feel like I did then, all excited, knowing I'm alive when a Star Wars film came out. XD

And "A New Hope" **shrugs** I just like it.

The construction of the Death Star was shown in Ep.III. The plans were in Ep.II. It took them like, 15-20 years to built the first Death Star then like, then a year or so for the next one? That's quite the show of haste. *Insert Clerks bit here*

Me, it would be:

Ep.V:
Epic. Xeo basically explained many of it's good points, and overall this one is my favorite.
Ep.IV:
I've seen this 100 times at least. Every summer, I watch it almost every night. It's a classic. Pretty much tied with Ep.V.
Ep.VI:
Is full of action going on, has an epic lightsaber duel, was great. But I dunno, something was lacking (which isn't Boba Fetts HORRIBLE death, though that sucked). The Ewoks was kinda a silly addition to it, but they don't really bother me. I dunno, it's at three. Still love it though.
Ep.III:
Lots of crazy action. Rise of Vader. Ignore the "noooo".
Ep.II:
Saw the first "Stormtroopers", and there was always Geonosis. Lots took away from it though, mostly Anakin.
Ep.I:
Not TOO bad, Maul was pretty badass, but this is easily the lowest on my list. I hate Anakin...again.

Yes sir.

Hmm, I don't think you had joined yet when Star Wars Episode III was new. I got over-excited and made a temp Star Wars forum, and made a global announcement the day the movie came out.

So yeah, I love my Star Wars. Looking back at III though, despite what I had said at the time, it was only great at some points ... especially the legendary duel between Anakin and Obi-Wan that I had waited for almost all my childhood life.

My order:
1. Episode V or VI - I know, I know. But I seriously can never decide between these two. Episode V has the infamous Hoth battle, its darker, its a rollercoaster ride (seriously watch it again and see how nonstop that movie actually is, right from when they flee Hoth its a nonstop chase. And the music just makes it even more amazing). But, Episode VI has the ending glory, and one of the most epic duels in any film to date. Still to this day when I watch Luke take on Vader, and Vader save his son, I get the biggest chills.
2. Episode IV - Not as much Jedi action in this one, but its still incredible. I also think this one had the best music hands down.
3. Episode III - Better than II and I, and even though it blended in with IV a little bit it still had a scent of "too much Hollywood" and over the top effects, if that makes sense? Still, some of it was pretty emotional, and it was pretty cool to see Anakin become Vader.

I don't know between Episode II and I. I think I'm really going to say I liked Episode I more. It had Qui-Gon, who was probably one of the best Jedi out there. Episode II for me ... just didn't have much going for it. Jango Fett was cool, it was cool to see the Death Star was being built, but other than that there's a few parts of that movie that I just really hated (the whole factory thing with R2 and C3PO, then the arena thing at the end. The whole horribly done love story between Anakin and Padma, and Anakin's horrible acting, Doukou is the worst Sith ever, etc). But I still like it, cause its Star Wars.

Basically, nothing can touch the Old Trilogy, and the New Trilogy is okay but probably could've been more.

There has probably been a thread about this at some point, but I haven't seen one since all of the movies have been out.

I rate them in this order:

  1. Episode VI: The Return of the Jedi

  2. Episode V: The Empire Stikes Back~Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (Tie)

  3. Episode IV: A New Hope

  4. Episode II: Attack of the Clones

  5. Episode I: The Phantom Menace

The only reason Episode 4 is so low is because I have seen it soooooo many times, I really don't care for it anymore. And Episode 2 is above 1 just because of the awesome big battles, and come on, Yoda.

And please choose the last option if you haven't seen most of them (you can vote for others if there is only one you haven't seen)
