See the button on the top of my post? It's a little link that says "Quote."

This is a technical term that we in the field of internet use.

Get with the program and stop being such a n00b.

For that matter, the code is "quote" and not "quotation."

If you feel like rewriting our code, be my guest, but until then, we're right.

Stop trolling, and go away.

Excuse me, but that is a quotation. Therefore, aren't you afraid of quotation pyramids?

Way to just read the name of the thread and not actually read anything in it, therefore truthening this point:

- People are so concerned with post count, they don't read the previous posts in a thread, or even the first one, but only post their idiotic views on the title. Say a person posts a thread asking about the main plot points in the Star Wars Attack of the Clones cartoon, you get this disjointed conversation from everyone in the thread just raving about what they think about Star Wars, not addressing any of the questions or the fact that the topic isn't even about the movies.

I thought it was important that everyone knew the difference between verb "quote" and noun "quotation." Since if you make a mistake once, it's probably a typo, or even twice or thrice. But five times, by two different people?

There's no such thing as a quote, so I fail to see the problem.

Oh yeah... or when some people quote an entire 565324837493874 line post and then ask a single question that requires you to guess what part of the post they mean... T_T I see that ALL THE TIME coming from a particular user that I can't remember the name of... I'll go check later.

But THAT is a common sense error, not something that can be fixxed by the board...

Well luckily for me I use a widescreen at the highest resolution, so this problem takes a lot longer for it to get annoying for me. Still, I hate it when someone posts, someone else quotes the entire post the asks a question on a particular part of it, without actually stating which part of it they were asking about (This has happened on my Pokemon RP discussion thread, not sure if it has happened to anyone else).

Change the default?

It wasn't so much that I was asking you to do anything, just telling everyone else that it's annoying.

Nothing I can do on this one.

But honestly, I haven't seen too much "quotes pyramids". Of course, I wouldn't even try with this layout.

I have been noticing that when people quote someone, they will quote their entire post, and not just the sentence/paragraph that they are referring to. This gets especially annoying in back and forth quoting, when it gets to the point that

The
quote
gets
squished
so
that
there
is
only
one
word
per
line

Seriously, please cut down on your quotes!
