I personally would say "Movies that never get old" could very well apply to being my favorites, pretty much.
So, some that come to mind: - Star Wars movies (not sure about the New Trilogy) - Lord of the Rings movies - Jurassic Park (2 is good too) - Face off - Terminator movies (maybe not 3) - Total Recall - The Matrix - Die Hard - Aliens And a TON of comedies can never get old for me. Especially Dumb and Dumber, and some of Mel Brooks' classics like Robin Hood Men in Tights and Spaceballs. |

The only movies that I can actually watch over and over again without it getting old.... Is probably Sprited Away. I don't absolutely adore that movie, just something about it makes it easier to watch again and again.

The story is unbeatable, the massive battles are great, the writing is great, the story always stays flowing, the characters are ultimate. Actually, come to think of it, I can't think of a sinle thing about them that I don't like. If it was any shorter, it would have missed a lot of good parts and I wouldn't have enjoyed it.
I still have to watch the four disc editions of each though. |

How does LotR not get old!?
The movies are so long I get tired watching one! They're good and all, but it's too much of a movie to sit through repeats of it. |

Hmm...let's see...
Lord of the Rings Movies 1-3. V for Vendetta. All Star Wars movies. First Matrix movie. Final Fantasy VII. I can see all of those repeatedly and enjoy them each time. Not many other movies have had the same affect. |

Oh yeah, Shaolin Soccer. That's a great movie.
If only Miramax didn't fuck up the DVD release and put out a REALLY crappy English version that cut out some of the best scenes. Stephen Chow kicks so much ass. |

Some people were too drunk to even continue watching after the first quarter of the movie. Another group of friends created a drinking game for Lord of the Rings where every time they show the One Ring, you drink. Yeah... needless to say they were pretty plastered early on. But back to Big Lebowski, here in L.A. we have a thing called Lebowski Fest where we go bowling, drink White Russians, and watch the movie saying every line in unison (My pictures from the last one). It's freakin' great. But in the way of drinking games, imagine if there was one for uses of the word "fuck" in Big Lebowski... One couldn't lay their hands on near enough alcohol: |
