Yeah I have that exact coding in my custom title right now (around the "Celebration IV"), but it doesn't show up.
I had that same thought about the fact that it's a non-admin account. Oh well. *Shrugs* |

I sent the stuff to Xeo, but I don't think he's done anything with it yet.
As for your link, you have to use straight, simple html. <a href="http://your-site.com/">Link Text</a> If that doesn't work, then I don't know what's up. It could be that links are filtered out from Non-Admin titles. |

Excuse the bump, so anything on this? I know it's lame, but meh.
Anyway, an addition to this thread. I'm trying to post a link in my custom title, but for some reason, even with the code in there, the link doesn't show up. It used to show up, but maybe that was when I was editing my user info as an admin, and thus it doesn't work now? Anything on this? |

Well I finally finished it...I think. I'm sending it to Xeo and DarkSlaya so one of them can fiddle with it. I'm going to be gone till Wednesday afternoon, so I can't troubleshoot it till then. The new profile looks very similar to the old one, but has an extra link at the top that takes logged in users to the Extended Profile (ProfileX) where you will find lots of information (all optional) and all that good shiz. Large demo images below:

Yeah, let's see what you've got! I'm actually interested to see how this turns out. While I really only wanted just more categories, I'd like to see how these things would like with wallpaper like Kyou suggested. |

 Holy crap, I forgot about this thing! I have the profile pages done, I just need to edit the editing php files and make the SQL updater.  I'll try to work on that sometime in the next few weeks. Finals are coming up here in Albion College and I am being assaulted by works.  |

I think it would be cool to completely costumize the wallpaper in our profiles, though. I hate to use MySpace as an example as it is so poorly coded, but something like that. It would be pretty neat to have completely personalized profile areas.
But in the matter of questions in the profiles, just simple and basic things like likes, dislikes, hobbies, favorite bands/music, favorite movie, what do you think of Xeo?, favorite drink, favorite book, etc. You know all that crap people love to write about themsvles (i.e. me  ). |

Thats a really good idea. The profiles are a bit to dull and I think that will brighten it up a little.

I could look into it, but you guys know me when it comes to coding ... 
Adding more fields would be easy though. My only concern would be to keep the look clean and not cluttered and stuff. |

Though it's a rather inane thing to ask could we add more categories to the member profiles? Interests? Hobbies? Favorite kind of music/bands? Secret guilty pleasure?
I think these add templates to better getting to know members than just the randomness people put in their bio section. People like filling out those surveys anyway. What's more would it be possible to make what you type in a link so that you could see who else shares a particular interest or whatever? There probably aren't enough people to make that interesting and I'm sure the coding for that is probably obscure, so that I'm not really asking for, but just putting it out there. |
