So...how did you get to him then?

Now I want to start playing again. But my Xbox got the Red Rings, and I can not get through to Microsoft. I am repeatedly told to "call again". It's happened like 8 times.

I've been playing Megaman Starforce 2 on my DS instead.

I seriously just walked around or whatever. Like this:

That is so me playing!

I mean, he does it once. But there's other videos where some don't even do it at all I'm pretty sure. Here's one. It worked for me and I was pissed to see how much easier it is by then.

edit: Sure you got the right number for their support line or whatever? wtf ... I'd be so pissed.

I still haven't gotten Ninja Gaiden II from Gamefly by the way, they suck at not giving you what's high on your list.

I've officially beaten everything, pretty much. All I need to do no is Heaven and Hell (easy) and Hell and Hell which I think I can pull off...

I'll admit though I beat the Bloody Palace using Super Dante. Ended up getting a D grade because of that I believe. That's gotta be absolutely insane to go through without Super characters, I swear towards the end there was one room where you fought like 50 of those Knights. And the enemies do turn to DMD difficulty at some point towards the end, so they'll Devil Trigger and crap. One room pits you off against two Blitz at once as well.

Haha, yeah.

I got to 60 or 70 in the Bloody Palace using Nero I think, without their Super forms as well. Not sure if I'll get that, gotta work on Dante Must Die mode now.

My wrist was seriously hurting when I was getting pretty far.

In the time since your last post, how far have you gotten in Bloody Palace, Xeo? The farthest I've gotten so far is...*thinks* 30~40+. I think. I forget, haven't played it in a long time. It was without using the unlimited Devil Trigger thing.

Also, you've probably already figured it out, but yeah, shooting does count in Heaven or Hell mode. You can kill the mighty Berial with one bullet.

Yeah, I went ahead and bought it.

Man, this Blood Palace is insane. Guess I should get those last three health bars filled and two (I think?) magic bars. I made it to 20 and even though I can usually own that boss, he seemed tougher than normal (the fire guy). I also figured out it's easier to play as Nero with Active on ... cheap, but whatever. , I don't play like that with Dante though, I much rather prefer him overall.

Is Heaven and Hell mode even that hard? Sounds like you could just go around shooting people instantly killing them (if that works?).

I really like how all your stats and everything carry over for all the modes. I may as well blast through Human mode looking for those Blue orbs and whatnot.

20 bucks? Day-um, totally keep it. I paid $50 for mine.

If not for the game, for Capcom. For providing us with many wondrous series.

Hmm, well I got this game via GameFly, but for 20 bucks I think I might keep it.

Whoa, a post? Yeah, Xeo, it's way easier compared to Ninja Gaiden. As for replay value, the main difference between the two is Bloody Palace (DMC) and how a character's stats etc carry over to other difficulties on DMC (from what I remember).

I personally prefer Ninja Gaiden as well, more fast-paced and smooth. However, nobody can resist Dante.

EDIT: X, Sanctus isn't too bad on earlier difficulties, just annoying. He was mega-bitchy though on Dante Must Die. Maybe I was just having an off day, I should try it again and check the results.

I'm going through this game right now and blasting through it really easily, on Devil Hunter. Nobody here specific, but I can't believe how hard the forums at GameFAQ's and even some FAQ's up there make this game sound, it's really not that hard at all. Dante was supposedly one of the toughest fights? ... I beat him on my first try.

I hate Sanctus too, only took me two tries still, but he was one boss that literally just owned me at first.

Anyways, I've never really gotten into this series before and havne't played the others that much at all, but oh well. I guess I might be missing out on some story ... but is anyone really playing this series for the storyline? lol.

It's a fun game, but I still have to say I prefer Ninja Gaiden's style of next-gen action. More fast paced, fluid, -countering-, all that crazy stuff. This is still fun in its own way though.

One thing I hear that this game has over Ninja Gaiden 1/2 though is insanely high replay value.

I've heard from DMC "vets" Devil Hunter is easier than other DMC games. After you beat Devil Hunter, you achieve Son of Sparda mode (aka Hard Mode) as well as Heaven or Hell mode (you die in one hit, but so do enemies, so it's SUPER easy). Then Dante Must Die, then Hell or Hell Mode (you die in one hit, enemies are as strong as in DMD mode). So yeah, there are lots of extra modes to play for more difficulty.

Enemies get their own "Devil Trigger" in DMD mode, making them really hard to flinch and such. =o

I've also found a way to deal with Sanctus. I didn't know you could buster the Savior's hand as it comes down, causing Sanctus to pop out wide open. (only a few people would understand this, sadly...)

You've beaten it already?! I really need to go back to my ways of locking myself in my room for days on end, only coming out to replenish my inventory or Mountain Dew and cherry taffies. Those were the days.

I've been messing around on it once and a while. Haven't played it on my PS3 yet, so, since my boyfriend and I just play it together on his 360, I'm not too far. Only up to Mission 6. But the game is pretty breath-taking. I can't help but think of Sparda though. I remember him creaming his pants over the video for the upcoming DMC 3. Teehee.

But yeah, next time I have a few days off from work, I'm just gonna blast my way through it. I've been playing on Demon Hunter Mode, or whatever it's called, and I must say, either I'm getting better at video games, or it's just not that hard of a mode...you guys tell me.

So yeah, I'm playing it on Dante Must Die (super hard) Mode. It hasn't been too bad. Except for one mofo.

Sanctus, the boss of level 11. He was the most cheapest, longest, most annoying boss I have ever faced in HISTORY. The fight took around 35 minutes, I used one Gold Orb (revives you if you die), 8 Small Health Stars, and 8 Medium Health Stars. I can't even comprehend how mad I was at this thing. Jesus.

He's the most annoying boss in the game period, and in he gave me most troubles in Medium and Hard mode. The thing is, he's also the last boss. You fight him again the exact same way except he's got new stronger attacks. The weird thing is, in that fight he's incredibly EASY.

Most annoying boss ever award. Sanctus. There's my short rant. I was nearly pulling my hair out.

Other than that, and the insanely tedious Mission 18, the game has been completely amazing in every way.

Slight bump, because I just got it. It's really fun, if I wasn't saving some cash to get Smash Bros, I'd buy it. The Buster throws are some of the best fighting moves I've ever seen, especially on bosses. It also has it's challenges, which is always good to have. My latest games have been easy as hell. (Except Kengo: Legend of the Nine, but that wasn't so much hard as it was...cheap. Like MMX6, though X6 isn't all that hard either once you get past it's "moments".)

This is actually my first DMC game, too. I couldn't ever play the others due to lack of a PS2. So yay, DMC cherry popped!

Yeah, I was actually thinking of playing number three before I played four... but since I'll probably end up playing neither...

Kengo still looks ridiculous, I don't know how you got through it.

but yeah, DMC4 looks damn sexy, according to Metacritic.(a couple of the sites they used I've never really liked though, so I don't trust their really bad reviews.)

This game is a beauty!

Reinvigorates the love for Devil May Cry that was hibernating within my blood.

And Nero is fucking awesome.

This game...**drools**

I was playing it with my boyfriend today, he bought it for the 360...and...I was so happy with the opening videos and opening fights I almost cried.

I haven't beaten the second or third DMC games, so I don't know that much of the story beyond the first one. Before I get it for my PS3, Ima go back, re-play the first one, since I haven't played it since I beat it back in 8th grade, and I'll actually finish the second and third ones.

The story just feels too damn good for me not to, ya know? And I'd rather play, than hear EVERYthing secondhand.

But...I previewed DMC 4 a bit, and...like I said...the tears of joy streamed down my cheeks. It's freaking gorgeous.

It got decent scores. And apparently the PS3 one looks slightly better.

I'll rent it eventually.

Heard the PS3 version is exactly the same, other than the fact that you gotta wait 20 minutes to install the damn game on your PS3. Everything else is exactly similar.

Yeah, im not going to play this. Not because of the download, only because I heard it has improved, but meh...I just dont know.

This new character is kind of ... egh. But yeah, it seems like a solid game.

I'd rather Capcom make another Onimusha though personally!
