I vary. While I normally drive the speed limit, or maybe a little below there are time when I crank up the speeds to the triple digit numbers. And that is still with other cars on the road.

I still love pulling into Las Vegas at 114. That's hair raising... *Shivers*

I got my permit in....april...so octo ber is when i can drive alone. My mom says I drive way to fast...I don't recall 45 in a 40 zone is to fast...>.> Anyway, it's story time, one time in albertsons parking lot before I could drive I was riding my bike home and got hit by a soccer mom in a mini-van who said I should've been watching where I was going (not even getting out of the car, just rolling down her window!). She then sped off into a smoothie place and got a smoothie. I got the police report and found her address, I then took a picture of my 4 inch scar on the back of my leg and sent it to her in a "Thank You" card. I thought that was pretty funny lol. So 4 weeks ago i saw the lady again driving down the road going to the smoothie place I work at...(How ironic?) I happened to be working behind the counter that day so our eyes made contact and she literally started cussing me out for the card. So as she was walking out I threw her smoothie at her and it hit her smackdad right in the back of the head...

There is a town in South Dakota that we drove through once where they will pull you over for going 1 mile over the limit and you cannot get out of the ticket. They especially like to watch California drivers (since we are notorious for speeding apparently), We never even hit the limit going through that town since we were warned about it ahead of time. Small town, middle of nowhere practically... just asshole cops.

I usually drive at or a bit above the sped limit. It's really not a good idea since I now
drive a motorcycle so on my bike I've been mostly sticking to the speed limit just
to be safe.

Too easy to get hurt on a motorcycle.

I always go 5 mph over the limit. It's legal if you do that. Sometimes on a 65 zone I'm stuck between 65 and 70. It's awesome. I love to drive. It gets my mind off of things. I never floor it. Takes too much gas nowadays.

I don't drive yet, but recently my Dad has been quite the speed demon. He has been pulled over twice once going 30 over while driving home from a vacation and then going 4 over. Those tickets aren't cheap at all.

Sometimes, I do. But most of the time, I figure it's okay to go 5 miles over the speed limit, no matter what it is. Recently, on the road that I travel on to go to work, they lowered the speed limit from 55 to 50, and that's a busy highway. On the part that is still 55, they are making a 5-mile section of road into a 4-lane highway. That should eliminate most of the accidents that occur from people trying to pass.

My dad got pulled over once for going 41 in a 35 zone. There have been occations when I have noticed myself going 10-15 over for a few minutes though, usually late at night though.

But yeah, I know out here at least it is illegal to go 10 miles above or below the speed limit.

I only drive at or below the speed limit when I'm tired, when I want a leisurely drive, when I'm not running late, when I don't have to be early, and if a cop or CHP is around.

Its really not hard at all, just a little weird at first.

I think its funny to look back and remember I used to drive using both hands constantly, and I would kind of 'sit up' like I was constantly on the look out on the road. Now, I usually just use one hand, and kind of lay back a bit to relax. Its just easy.

Depending on where I'm at, really. If it's the Highway, probably would when I get my level 2 license. Otherwise, not because it won't look good for the tests. If it's in the city, no.

I need to get my level 2 license before school starts again, and I need to practice Parallel Parking, Reverse Parking, and Highway Driving.

Shit...there are limits....aren't there?

In all honesty, I usually don't. 10 over? O_o Yeah, I was comfortable with that when I was like...thirteen. I mean, sure, I won't go 100mph in an 80mph zone (Haven't seena any yet, but driving down to Florda, a good chunck of it is actually 70mph zones) But I have no problem going 80 in a 60mph zone.

But that's just on highways. Driving through neighborhoods, of course I heed the speedlimit. Where there are houses, there could very well be children.

I generally do drive the speed limit, however, sometimes if I'm in a hurry I will go above it, especially late late at night when I just wanna get home. No falling asleep at the wheel for me.

I don't eat. I feed off the anger generated by the drivers stuck behind me when I'm driving 35 on a 50 mph single lane.

That's just how I drive.[/quote

Thats how I am XD. I just love the feeling of being pushed back as you accelerate.

Which explains why I made a savings account for my new engine
