I personally think the merging of Online and Modern Gaming is a great idea.
I'm not too sure anymore about the Art and Literature Forum not because it doesn't make sense, I just think VOF nailed when he said it looks better. But if you wanted to, that'd technically make me the absolute power over the Sim/Rp Realm...I kind of like the idea now. |

Well I've already said elsewhere I probably won't do this. Even though I'm 110% for this, I'm no dictator (for the most part ...). I just think it would upset "too" many people.
I just don't see how a lot of you say "moderators" is an issue for it though. Kite Fly and Elara, are both FM's, so technically its almost kind of meanlingless to even have their names over a forum, its just kind of for reference. And Katana would just end up moderating the bigger, joined forum. But oh well. And a moderator for Sunset is a good idea. And it seemed like people felt Modern Gaming and Online should be kept seperate, even though Online Gaming gets maybe ... 1 post in 1 thread, a week or something? |

I'm not sure about the Story/Art merger idea... I mean I see the "it's all art" idea but I really think that it's best to keep the seperate because of the clutter it would create in those forums and of how likely it would be that a person's thread would be pushed down and never seen. It happens in both forums already. Also there is the matter of the mods... Art already has two mods, and I have Story... so who would get pushed out and where would they go?
And in all honesty, if we had a good mod for Sunset we could nip those problems in the but faster. Of course strict enforcement of the Flame rule would do that as well. |

I made it for NFFs item shop, but I can be like a board freelancer, selling my items away.

Eh, I love Lucre and all, but what in the world could we use it for?
I guess I could search my old computer for the item shops ... and maybe upload those for the heck of it. Maybe DarkSlaya has some ideas?
So yeah, I think I might start the forum changes pretty soon. (Probably start with Xeogaming, just maybe make a thread in General about it). |

The only thing that I can really suggest as far as forums around here is a Foreign Language Forum. Although I'm biased to one particular language, maybe there would be more people interested in learning other languages. I would definitely post there if there was one. However, the only thing that I'm concerned about is the activity -- I'm not sure that it would receive enough activity. Oh well, I'm one to go with the flow anyway, so whatever happens, I'll go along with.  |

You can't merge Story and Art. They aren't the same thing. Art specialized in the visual aspect of design and such. Story is still visual, but it's written art rather than drawing, animation, video, etc. I don't think they should be merged.
While similar, it doesn't make sense to merge them. Sure they're slow, but that because they depend on creative processes, which are also slow. |

Xeogaming Site forum, and Game Design I wholeheartedly agree on. Online Gaming I feel is fine, and Sunset Waterfall is where the drama is at. But when people do feel like they need advice, where else they gonna go for a opinion from a number of competent (in some cases) people? The ones that cause grief get banned, anyway.
I'm not supporting Cairois Critic Forum idea totally here, but a name suggestion if it goes through: Critique Boutique |

1) what if we got some flash on the site? it could be cool. 2) a betting system for sim-battling. ppl could bet on who they think will win. there could be a form of currency, or mayb you could bet EXP? |
