I'm taking French now, going to learn Japenese first chance I get, and I also plan on learning at least the basics of:
Spanish German Mandarin And Sajin, he said "I speak German very well, Mr. Gorotto! Thanks!" Yeah, I know spatterings of tons of languages. But, I'm only 14. Don't expect me to speak anything fluently. |

I know some Sm'algyax. I've just been taking the course for years in school. (Yet forget everything over summer =/)
Language of the Tsimshian? Ki'itsgu da awaa niksuniiskw. (I point towards the window). I'd do some other kind of words, but some letters of our alphabet just happen to not be possible on a computer without downloading a specific font. What I really want to learn however, is German. I know nothing yet, but will learn sometime. Originally posted by That guyNot me... |

Originally posted by Master Sajin note the BOLD there Clock...you know, I kinda put that there because of the way I emphasize that word.... All I read was German, My last name, and something about an Idiot I believe... Hell if I know...And in all honestly, my goal for this summer is to learn alot of japanese.... |

Ich spreche Deutch, aber nicht sehr gut. Yo hablo español un pequito, pero es no muy bueno... pero es mejor que mi alemán. (I speak German, but not so good. I speak Spanish a little, but it's not very good... but it's better than my German.)
I know a few phrases in Japanese, maybe two words of Mandarin and Cantanese... and I can count to ten in Korean. That is pretty much my extent of languages. Oh, and I know phrases in Elvish too. |

Maybe I should re-name this thread as the official "Foreign Language" thread, yes?

I wanna LEARN Japanese. I know a few words, but I can't spell them accurately.
As for German, Sajin? Ich spreche Deutsch sehr gut, Herr Gorotto! Danke! |

Well, yeah. I bet they ask if you know martial arts as well.
I, luckily, do not have the Mexican generalization going. And I don't care what happens to the immigrant thingies. As long as they don't protest on the freeway again, I'm fine. |

Doumo arigatou gozaimasu! My nihongo is kinda bad, so it's hard to pick up on things for me... But I CAN read and write it! Alot of people at school are like, "You can speak Chinese??"
Asian generalization never gets old. |

Extremely polite, yes, but I needed the most basic that I could accomplish, and the sentence was as provided by my college Japanese instructor (whom is native Japanese). I understand there are different dialects, but she gave myself and a friend this question as to facilitate, at best, a numerical answer out of Tokyo Disneyland employees.
Since, by custom in the US, even with Disneyland employees, we don't learn their names prior to a business transaction such as purchasing goods and services at the stores. Therefore, your sentence, while better suited for the culture, is useless in my situation. Still, you're better suited speaking/practicing with VGFreak than anybody else. While I am studying linguistics, I focus more on the structure and history of the language than actually communicating with it...for now. But, if you need help in any of the other languages... |

Actually, Zabuza that also is incorrect. If you want to say that it would be better to say it like this:
Dono gurai NAME-san wa TOKYO DISNEYLAND ni tsutometemasu ka? ‚Ç‚Ì‚®‚ç‚¢‚w‚³‚ñ‚Í“Œ‹žƒfƒBƒYƒj[ƒ‰ƒ“ƒh‚ɋ΂߂Ă܂·‚©H Yeah I'm getting okay in the language, it helps that I sometimes have someone to talk to to help me along and correct my mistakes. I have been studying for over 2 1/2 years now. If you would like to converse more, please let me know, I would be happy to help you. Edit: Correction in spelling. |

Incorrect.
How many years have you worked for Tokyo Disneyland? We needed to ask that to employees when I worked at Disneyland for their proper purchasing discount. That was back when I was semi-fluent. I had multiple opportunities to practice. Now, I'm very rusty, and can really only pick up on spoken Japanese if it's not spoken too quickly. My German is totally gone, but I can still read it. Mandarin is limited to about five words. |

Ja, ich kann auch Deutsch sprechen, aber nicht so gut wie Englisch, und spreche ich Japanisch über scheußlich....
(Ya, I can speak german as well, but not as good as English, and my Japanese is crap.) Oh, and Zabusa? I don't know what you asked ^.^; I know you asked "What do you feel about/what are your thoughts on Tokyo's ________?" That's all I could pick up on that.... |

I honestly don't think many here know much ... VGFreak should probably know a great deal though. |

I'm about to finish my first semester of Japanese here at college. So I know a little bit here and there. I've also picked up a few things from going to Japan twice. |

Nan nen tookyoo no disuniirando hatarakimashite ka?
Yes, I'm taking Japanese. In college. Well, not now, since I'm working on my degree coursework, but I used to speak semi-fluently. I lose it since I don't use it. Languages I know: American English British English Castillian Spanish Latin American Spanish French Canadian French Italian Japanese Mandarin Chinese German Klingon and, recently, Simlish Occasionally, I use it to call Sajin an idiot. |

Does anyone else know any Japanese? I need to brush up my skills and I need to actually initiate in dialog.... Nobody here knows it except one of my friends taking the class in college! xD |
