I wanna see it just for the hell of it. I personally think it will be a bit creepy. Why? Because its rated PG13. My reasoning behind that? Well...it's not rated R, so...I'm sure it won;t be too gorey and all naked and stuffers like that. Therefore, the movie just may concentrate on messing with your mind and freaking you out.
It might suck. It might not. **shrugs** After most of the movies that came out in 2005, I'm not going to be so quick to say "That's gonna be JAWESOME!!!" just by the trailer. Now, I'm just sitting back and deciding whether it's something worth seeing in theaters or not. I'd say this one is. |

But see the thing that dissappoints me about this movie is that they are milking the whole "Saving your life from a Video Game"...That was so 80's...

Darkknight, wow. It's a horror. You can tell because if you watch the trailer, it's trying to be scary.
Look, you guys want my opinion on this? I think it looks kind of stupid. There was this videogame thing where the one bad-guy came out of it, and it bombed. The'yre was this one movie where a kid who was good at starship games was taken away to go fight aliens by other aliens. That was iffy. Then there was the book Ender's Game. I'll leave it at that. Personally, it looks like there is bad writing, bad actors, and bad directing. I got all this from the trailer. So, yeah. |

I am wondering what genre will it be (Horror, Action, Family, etc.)?
I think this looks very cool even though I have only seen the commercial once, but by your description it looks good. |

It had all sorts of people in the movie though, not just stereo types, the main theme was " Gamers" and I think it will be cool, I dont think it has anything to deal with the goverment or gothics I just think it would be really cool to watch something scary that is base off of gaming instead of dying on a ghost ship, dying in space or dying by an evil ghost that didn't know how to let go o fthe fact that their past sucked. |

I saw the commerical, But the way it looks/That the game is all gothic, just says to me "this movie will drag on forever and be average"

Havent I seen a movie like this?
I remember watching a movie on Stars that had this kid, he HAD to play the game in order to save his life...but while he was playing, he was doing all of this horrific crap like sadistic murders and countless raping... Most of the time it was set like a DOOM format...like first person...It was pretty corney though because it was made in the 80's...Still pretty good tho... But yeah, I think the Goverment is trying to warp our minds about videogames or something...:: Shrugs :: |

That sounds pretty cool, and I've always thought about the concept of playing in a video game but when you die you don't really die in real life. That wouldn't make any money :p
I don't have time to look at any trailers at the moment but one game I've always wanted to play in reality would be day of defeat (Half Life Mod). Instead of feeling pain, your body would just respond less quickly or you wouldn't be able to move certain body parts. And of course you can change the settings so there wouldn't be 100% realistic gore. That'd be gross. Anyways, seems to be an interesting movie, when I get to see the trailer I'll add more to this post. |

The other day I was by myself at home in the dark, gaming, and I died. So I got mad and switched it over to TV and this commercial came on and its about these gamers who die in a game, then they die in real life, its called "stay alive".
so yeah I was freaked out for about 10 minutes, but now I want to see the movie BTW I'm not sure when the movie will be out. |
