A friend of mine has On Demand and we've checked out the anime on it. It's alright. Though I did fall in love with a series "Descendants of Darkness". I've only seen 3 episodes of it so far though. I keep hearing that it leaves out sooooo much and that the manga is WAY better, but whatever, the anime is still okay.

I also watched "The Getbackers" on On Demand. I really like that one too, considering I've only seen very few episodes of that as well. Like Sion, dubs never bother me. Sure, I can see differences, like when I watch the dubbed version of Sailor Moon and the Japanese version of it. There's a BIG difference. Teehee. But I still won't deny the fact that I love the series, dubbed or not.

Though I guess I feel the same about Naruto as you guys. I've only seen the dubbed version of Naruto, and quite frankly, I think the show sucks. I'd still give it a chance if I got the opportunity to see the Japanese version or read the manga or something, but from what was available to me of the show...yeah...sucks.

Ive never been one to dislike the dubbs. The only anime I could say that the dubb annoyed me was Naruto, after 170 episodes of great japanese voice acting the english version was just unbearable.

I recently saw Area 51 (or something like that). Only one episode but it looked interesting. The whole two names spelled differently resulting in two completly different guys, and yet they are still similar....if you havnt seen this Im making no sense....oh well!

I haven't watched Area 51, but I might check it out later now that you brought it up. I started getting attached to Grappler Baki, even though the voices are pretty bad, the fight scenes entertain me.

If you get Comcast like me, you get Anime Network On Demand and Anime Direct (Its really called something else but I don't remember).

I don't want to sound like a crazed fan boy, but the dubs they show are always bad. The voices in Getbackers make my soul ache. So I honestly take both networks for granted.

Who needs "On Demand" when you have Anime Network on Direct TV? somewhat like what you were saying, it has its own variences of types of anime thats out there...Action, Drama, Horror, Etc...

And then theres the international Channel. I usually catch uncut episodes of One Piece on there from time to time, however vaguely lost of the new crew thats on there....

Lets see, Trancxion is what im watching on Direct TV right now...Kinda feels like it was from the director of Donny Darko...

Late nights are hentai, only one I watch is Words Worth

you know I've ben trying to get AN for free on Charter. I've signed the petition, got my fellow anime fans on Charter to sign it and we also called up Charter saying I don't see why we don't have to pay for Toon Disney but we have to pay for AN.

Im not sure how many of you are familar with this. Ive had AN:OD for about two years now. When I first got it was soooo awesome, there were sections like "Giant Robot" "Action" "Drama" and such, and in each section a good variety of Anime to watch.

To name a few..
Eva (subbed and dubbed), GetBackers, Colorful, Wandaba Style, Gantz, Now and Then, Here and There, and a ton more

I didnt watch it for from july-december, since I was away from home. Now that I get back I started watching it again, but its not nearly as cool as it used to be. Its still awesome, but like 23% as awesome as it used to be.

This makes me sad....in my pants.
