Anyway I would step in and go "Hey, if you're going to hurt yourself do it another way." It's just something that I do. ..... A lesson I should've learned waaaay back with my ex father. |

People aren't ever obligated to do anything like that. 'Least they shouldn't be as far as I'm concerned.
However, I'm going to be honest and say that maybe you should help her out. You never know. If anything, it would be for YOUR own good. Years from now, this could be something that you end up regretting and guild is one tough bitch to live with. And you know...you helping her out somehow doesn't mean you personally walking her through everything. Telling someone that could and would want to help her would do as well. |

Technically no, you are not obligated to do anything if you don't want to... but if it is something really serious you should do something. |

Okay, here's the skinny. My ex-girlfriend is kind of a wreck these days, and is doing some pretty far out things to try and make me feel like crap. And granted, it's working. I talked to her this morning and well, I think that she might be doing some things that could effect her for the rest of her life. But the problem is, I hate her. And really hope she hurts herself atleast half as much as she's hurt me.
Am I in any way obligated to try and step in? |
