The moment his lance was stuck on the pavement, that scream was heard again, but quickly fades away. Instead, Cairoi gained much of the distance between them; he was quickly strong enough to dispel the ripple. The moment he was charging, it seems hopeless for Seticus to dodge it but the only thing he could do was trying to swing and ward off Cairoi’s attack.

The extreme speed that could achieves more than Seticus’ skill, it wasn’t enough for Seticus but he still has one thing in mind. That eye… It wasn’t just itself. That presence that seems to consume him whole, Cairoi’s attack seems to achieve with success, but at the same time, nothing seem to happen. The lance bottom edge hit his head, instead of Cairoi’s fist. Pure luck even that lance was supposed to kill Cairoi on the spot, but it did not for some mysterious reasons. The energy has negated each other…

Seticus was still alive and slightly injured with a little hit on his head. With a quick chance and recovering his senses like so, he pull out his lance and swiftly thrust at Cairoi’s heart.

Cairoi was able to understand to a basic idea Seticus' actions as he began his incantation. Cairoi smiled as he jumped back, sheathing his blade on his back. He began charging two different Cross Scar colors in each scar, planning his attack He jumped back further as Seticus released his attack, the ripples 10ft from him. He smiled as each of his hands glew a different color of his Cross Spectrum. Using his Terramorphus to quell the ripples that leapt forth in his direction, he propelled forward at Seticus, fist raised.

One hand was on the color yellow, giving Cairoi the ability to move at speeds faster than that of which Beowulf had moved. The other, the cocked right fist heading at incredible speeds at Seticus' face, was Pressure. The effects of Pressure is that the energy itself is an odd new energy controlled only by Cairoi. When the pressure ability kicks in, whenever the enemy is hit, the energy comes into effect. It acts as an agitator which makes the energy in an opponent's body flow to the one spot, overload it, and cause it to explode. And with Seticus' form clenched in the stabbing position and Cairoi moving at his ludicrously high speeds, the hit was almost guaranteed.

Seticus, with all things set in motion; leap so high in the air, the beam underneath passes him by without any problem. The environment, the very presence that is commonly known to all but now it is lost for a moment, became more hostile and threatening. Seticus was floating there, shroud by darkness as if it was entirely consuming him, but every part of his body figurine was still there. Quick to answer Cairoi’s attack, he place his lance on his back, scream in pain as the wing sprout out of his back, holding that lance of his while shielding his body, and Seticus stresses out every part of his body, which made it seem like he was being stressed out by a torture machine. But he was not, and the energy can be seen from expanding out from Seticus’ heart to his fist, to his feet and above his head.

Few small orbs appear, creating from Seticus’ energy that rest within heart. Each orb would have a different symbol from the rest, and a different color. Each orb’s symbol slowly appears, except the one appears above Seticus’ head. The symbol came out as an unknown language (probably demonic due to what many people have called him) and Seticus whispers each name except the one without the symbol. That mysterious orb above Seticus’ head, the purple color, the unknown, was intriguing enough, at the time, felt as someone was watching through a 3rd eye.

“Fire…
Disintegrate the Living One.

Water…
Wash the Sinned away.

Wind…
Invoke your lethal power.

Earth…
Unleash thy divine Fury

If thy failed, only the Last Resort
Will bring paradise once again.”

The orbs disappear one by one, making it look like they were going to take place. However, the orb above remained for a second, disappears with the rest but the symbol have yet not to reveals itself. The environment mighty roared, the world shook as in fear of death and it felt like that there is no one to save them. Seticus didn’t seem to be changed, but now he was relaxed after forming his task. He pull out his lance, the wings began to fall from the back, gliding toward to the ground. Seticus seem unusual, but his appearance hasn’t change.

Seticus ready himself, he charges with that speed of an agile speeding bullet, toward at Cairoi. If the lance struck Cairoi’s body, the pressure can cause pain that could not be described in words; it would want to make you to fear the meaning of it. Even if he has missed, he would make a huge impact on the ground, a fissure heading toward to few people, innocent bystander and including at his enemy as well, Cairoi. Seticus loves seeing the people who hated him the most would cry and weep in pain. His eye still remains the same.

His smiles was evil, that evil face show the devil’s look, he never been happier… In a way.

Cairoi did not move as his enemy had blocked his distractionary attack. The entire reasoning behind the attack was to hide the fact he was charging forward and that he had in his cocked left hand a technique of shining brilliance. He had planned his smite attack- A honed beam form of his Purificate technique that causes the area it hits to overflow with holy energy. It destroys evil energy and unblances non-elemental energy, causing neutral enemies to pass out. As he released this attack, he brought his right arm down from folded over his shoulder with his sword swinging down. If his enemy was to pull up another barrier, the beam would destroy the barrier and leave him exposed. If his enemy were to block, the beam would destroy some energy of his enemy's and leave him weakened for an attack. Seticus had few choices.

With a keen perspective and skills that could never be matched (in his own way), Seticus challenged Cairoi to a game of knowledge. Least to be expect, Seticus never let his rages consumes him, he control it the hard way. His eye opened, that of those rages were released. He channels it toward to the needles, just one swing from his lance sent all of the needles back; even few are aimed at Cairoi. With one swing, that agony screams was heard again, and the dark purple energy was seen to knock every needle away. But the way Seticus swing his lance was too swift and unparallel in power.

His eye became more devilish, more lethal to even look at. Just looking at his eye would send chill down in your spine but even deep behind those eye, would comfort you in death. His aura, no… His presence became from silent to dark to silent, just if he was awaking from a danger. He smiles at Cairoi, expecting to live up with his standard. The only thing Seticus got out of that was just something simpler that he could have done.

Now he prepares himself into that unique stance, not commonly found by any people would master lance themselves. The agony screams became a chorus, that harmonizes the environment and the way that the world would be, is no longer once it felt before. His eye became of what it can felt from, revenge, hatred, lust and every sin could be felt. It would not affect anyone, but that eye… It became so unpromising. The way he knocked the needles just before it even hit him at the blinding speed, the scent of action through with a sense of perspective skill and that sinister glaring lance with no true name, Seticus would most likely to unleashes his divine wrath upon his opponent.

Cairoi noticed that while Seticus was so eager to insult him, he dared not launch the first attack against Cairoi. Whether or not he said it aloud or thought it, Seticus was scared.

It gave him a window of oppurtunity. He concentrated on the ground around Seticus. What his enemy did not realize was that he was using his ancient power of Terramorphus to group the asphalt into small needle-like projectiles. He showed no outward signs other than his unemotional face. After 15 seconds, he smirked as the needles launched out en masse at Seticus. They moved at blinding speeds, and numbering in the hundreds, his enemy would be hard pressed to dodge or block them all. They were not sharp, per se, but at the speeds they were moving they would dent armor or pierce skin easily. His enemies' rage and constant degradation and disrespect of his enemies was his downfall.

“…” Seticus wouldn’t let Cairoi’s word get to him. The only fact he came to conclusion that Cairoi seem more inexperience with the way he looks. With the sword, the way he dressed, all of it seem like a person would show off their abilities every now and then. Seticus then faced forward at Cairoi, just when he was talking towards Seticus. He didn’t like the way Cairoi approached him. And the way he addressed to himself, Seticus saw that coming, it was too expected.

"Show me you are worthy to back up your hatred."

“...” Seticus just watch as Cairoi pull out his sword. The way he place himself in that stance, it seem like he would fight Seticus no matter what Seticus was looking for. The poor bastard, he just has find a way to avoid the fight but now his rages been just provoked. His eye was still in control but that rages just kept on burning aggressively and it would seem like once he unleashes his fury, there would be hell that could last for all eternity.

“Let’s rock.” These words didn’t matter to Seticus any more. He didn’t care if Cairoi was going to hit him or not, Seticus want to see Cairoi’s death, and bathe in the victory. He closes his eye to gain the focus in his head. He wasn’t going to get defeated by what everyone called a god. He wants to bathe in god’s blood, knowing that there is no such thing as a god. There are no such things as immortal either.

“Go ahead… Make your attempt to claim your weak entitlement. But if I see you crying for mercy, you will receive none, as if I don’t know the meaning of it.”

"Calling me a boy is inappropriate as I outage you, my friend. And the rest of your taunts I do not feel like adressing. Such bad taste from who is referred to as such a great warrior.

And how does my mouth speak loudly when I do not call myself a god, yet you acuse me of it? Others call me a god for I can live in the heavens and have power beyond mortals. Yet..."

Cairoi began walking towards Seticus, his body firm and decise.

"Show me you are worthy to back up your hatred."

Cairoi's sword lifted into the air by firmly grabbing the hilt and held it in a proper battle stance in front of him, firmly planted in between his eyes. He was ready.

"Let's rock."

“Hmmp… Pathetic. Your mouth speaks loudly, and your sword doesn’t mean anything. In another word, you are just a child with a pathetic excuses. You deserve worse and I see no reasons why should I kill you. You disgrace yourself and the world around you, therefore, I see no reasons to call you a god, but a mere child with no abilities to fight."

Seticus’ eye was blunt as ever, his stubbornness and grudges became sharper than any edges of any blade the world has known. If one would fear such honesty, Seticus would be the first to send the victim’s soul to hell, banishing them to live in the eternal world of lies and damnation. Even in this case, Seticus do not need to prove himself. His own words covered up his action, but see no reasons to fight such one would be claimed themselves as a god. If they did, everyone would be immortal and prefect. The thought of that disgusts him. Therefore, he believes that Cairoi wasn’t that strong, just pathetic in his own way.

Seticus doesn’t consider himself as a god, but what everyone else called him, a demon with no life. As much as having no inspiration, few have admired for his reasons. Seticus doesn’t listen to most of his fellow demon, or anyone who can be related to him. He only trusts what he need in life, the life he was born was taken away. He was manipulated, controlled, even used as someone’s mindless doll, but even still from day one when he was awaken, he swore that nobody would have the right to control him and vow that he will be the one to kill whoever claimed themselves as the god.

The lance he holds said to be devastating in power, radiate with the victim’s soul, and the intriguing design made the lance look like it shatter the ever graceful heaven and the deceiving hell of the world. Seticus is not a person to be trifle with, he isn’t human, only what people dared to call him. A demon with no life. Even the lance he holds has proven that.

Seticus took a step back. As he was completely prepared, he only swung his lance once but so quickly that a small ripple of wind was given a few second to see for anyone and the agonizing screams was heard for each time the lance was used in battle. The lance itself emits the ever so mysterious presence, told that the victims contained inside, was a huge burden for anyone but for Seticus, he does not care. The ripple dissipates shortly after.

He turned his back on Cairoi but look back at him.

“Such foolish boy… Somewhere in your heart, I will gladly see that it will burn in the hell.” His tone was so blunt and calm, but the way it sounds, it wasn’t. It was rages of anger, of hatred, of everything that Seticus never want to see in his life. His eye always seems to be telling the truth.

Cairoi's hand lifted up slowly, grasping the long iron hilt, bandaged by weathered white cloth. His mouth opened and stayed open, tasting the air before speaking some seconds later.

"Well, Seticus...I see you don't speak French. No matter."

Cairoi shifted around slowly, looking intently at his opponent. His opponent had in his eyes the limitless determination of the mortal people. Cairoi envisioned his early youth, remembering the same look in his eyes. He compared himself to his new foe in many ways. However, there was a very large difference.

Seticus wished to be a god. Cairoi was one.

Cairoi slowly walked forward, a facade of peace on his face. Cairoi looked at the wepon he held in his hands. The lance that had the power of the Medusa. It is a shame it didn't work on Cairoi.

He drew his humongous blade, stabbing it into the ground. He took his long brown trenchcoat and threw it to the side of the street. He also slowly worked off his gloves and threw them into the pile. He wore now only black, except for the silver necklace around his neck.

And with the the glove landing on the ground, the jagged scars on the back of his hands became apparant. The were shaped like crosses, and in his immortal life had been remembered for them, being called a disciple of thier diety. However, their lord, Jesus, who he had met, had not been as selfish to want a religon based on him.

Cairoi smiled as the sword seemed to pull itself from the ground and sheath itself on Cairoi's back. No doubt it was his Terramorphus, but he never foolishly announces his abilties anymore.

"So..you wish to kill me. Show me this determination that bides within you, and we shall see."

“…”

A figure approached to Cairoi, with a disgusted look on his face. He was angry, but it was rages he has under control. He would be disgusted by any humans he meet, even if they are demons or illusions before his eye. But this figure was one of the kinds, a sacred one. Just appearing there was more then what it seems like an heroic battle, it was an epic war. The environment would grow old and cold, making it feel like there are no right side or the wrong side. In the end, there would be only one true victor and only one death.

He did not bow, nor does he express any kindness but only thing was that demonic eyes seem to only tell the truth. It rested within his hellish eye. That hated, all of that rages he controlled inside, the symbol was still there. He could already rush to his doom, but his death would never complete his satisfaction of life. He wants to see the punishment of evil, the end that would bring more reasons toward life, and his goals was more then what some called impossible. It was unrealistic mission, an inevitable goal that he could never complete. But that eye, it rang wrong.

He wants to kill anyone who would stand in his way, and never look back. He would smiles for himself if it means to make him stronger, but unleashes his fury if the weak only delay him. He wishes to become an apocalypse being, or the end of all end, but more importantly, he want to be a god.

He got a satisfaction of killing anyone in his way. He won’t rest, until he sees that everything that harms him will die.

Seticus stood there, with the robe covering his body, his arm, and even his leg. His dark-green hair reaches to his shoulder, making it so peaceful to look at but the result tend to be shed in blood. His demonic red eye are brutal and honest to look at, there was nothing but rages to see inside. His weapon was master crafted, impossible to give any word on it, because it said to kill any living that saw the weapon’s might. They were making a story that claimed to take over half of the world population, but it was only a story to uphold. Along with the dark crystal material, the addition of adding silver made the lance strike terror to anyone who sees it, and even people believes that it is futile to escape the divine wrath of its might. The weapon’s true name was lost, it was never told of.

Many don’t know who Seticus is, or what he is. They only claim that he was sent to see the end of the world. Seticus never cared of what people have to say. His life was lost, his reason became his quest, and his fate was his choice. Nothing more, nothing less, Seticus, in the end, never exists in his own body. Or so he believed.

“…” Not a word was spoken, he was quiet. His face gave signs of maturity, but only because he was determined to fight for his reason. That face, became the symbol of his determination.

Cairoi versus Seticus AKA Beowulf

An end to what was started by the ancients...

They say a silhouette is the true reason that foreshadowing acquired it’s term…Always fear the gleaming smile of insanity…and confidence. For they are one and the same.

Cairoi walked solemnly onto the empty city streets. The endless wars waged by the guilds, they destoroyed the very things that some sought to protect. Cairoi seemed to be naught but a silhouette against the overturned wreckages and cratered buildings. He was a silhouette, a mere shadow that has been cast upon the earth for longer than this strain of humans has existed. He is from the olden days, when humans were much hardier and peaceful than the ones today. Cairoi had only witnessed 1 great war caused by humans in his mortal lifetime. In these new days, he had seen so many across the course of man he grew weary of it. He cared for humans and the planet deeply, as he was more intricatly connected to them then anyone could guess. These wars haunted him.
He wandered the street, cloaked in a brown trenchcoat. He also wore black finger-less gloves, a black t-shirt, and black pants. His legs were protected by black pants, and black boots. The boots, gloves, and jacket were nothing more than oddities he had acquired on his journies. However, the clothes were a momento from his wife, Mia, from the olden days.
If one was to look upon Cairoi, they would not see a man from an era long gone. They saw a man with shaggy, medium-length brown hair, green eyes, and kind, reserved smile. Until they saw the 5-foot obisidian broadsword tied to his back.
Diosu, the weapon he himself had honed with eons of work, was a shining example of his past. It had jagged, spiked edges, though they seem curvy like waves from the midnight tide. It was glowing with a small white light, contrasting with the shadowy blackness of the obsidian.
While Obsidian is the immediatly apparent item of the sword, diamonds, steel, and many other metals along with the soul of a demon were crafted into the blade, making it an almost indestructable weapon. One of legend.
All of this made Cairoi an able advesary, and his meanderings about the highway made him an open target. He looked uncaring as he walked, until he heard a shift of rubble behind him. He stopped, not bothering to turn around.
"Bonjour. Je'mappelle Cairoi. Et Toi?"
