Wow...Dont I feel like a complete and utter dumbass right at this moment...
When I saw that picture, I was completely stumped untill I saw a little color looking like a circular roof...I diddnt change the gamma because I was thinking that wouldent help (That and I was using a POS comp...) U.U ;;;; |

If they are ever invaded by ground troops they will be momentarily stalled by the site of it so that the troops can have time to get aim the guns and tanks at them. Secret defense plan.

Cuz, that actually had me worried for a second, but I do see it now. I'll have to send the image back to him, or see if he can take a better one. I don't think he can though. He's not really supposed to be sending pictures like that back home.
Oh well. And from what I remember from SAS training, camouflaging object to blend in is usually done with the intent of not being visible from the air down, usually not from ground up. But, I guess this works as well. Ooh...floating tower... |

Lol, atfirst I was stumped myself, untill I looked closer. The roof is indeed the color of the sky =P I was ganna comment on that, but Rogue beat me to it.

The color of the roof is similar to that of the sky.
After dropping the midtones in the picture, you can just make out the outline of the top part of the roof. Giving buildings, ships, vehicles and uniforms neutral colors is imperative to keeping the enemy from finding you. |

My buddy, who is currently serving in the Army in Iraq, sent me this photo:
It's part of his base of operations over in a place I can't mention. However, while looking through the photograph, I noticed something quite odd... 
Why is this portion of the building seemingly floating? Now, he told me that the photo wasn't doctored, so he doesn't know why it appeared like that. Any speculations? Are we looking at secret US government technologies they want us to know about? |
