Ugh, I hate that look, meaning the short skirt with the big boots. What's sad though is my mother wants me to dress that way (my mother would also like it if I wore more revealing cothes or if I dressed goth, go figure). Unfortunatly, I usually don't get peace from my mother til I wear it at least once, so those who see me in real life...it was not my idea. |

I don't see many people like that where I live. I think that some people dress like that just to get attention. But what do I know, I'm just some guy living in the south. |

I live in Southern California, where it never gets below 40 degrees. There is a lot of that short skirt big boots thing going on at my school. I guess I dress pretty weird myself so I can't criticize. I think it looks ridiculous though. |

To be honest, I don't quite know what a "slutty" outfit is, because most of the girls in my town don't seem to dress or act like complete sluts. I mean, when somebody gets boned eight times a night, you know about that, but everyone seems to present themselves fairly normally around here. The worst thing I've seen was a really short skirt... but thats it. And none of the guys really are like "AUGH HAWT OMG" or anything. Maybe its different in other places, but here I guess nobody is sluts. Then again, a lot of them are really boring here, and if they are mildly attractive, they are very boring, and if they are interesting people, than they won't be anything more than friends. Is it the same anywhere else? |

Haha, just as I hit New Reply, a news flash came on about what'll be on the news tonight. It was footage of this guy, wearing a Metallica "And Justice For All..." shirt, putting on a pink, floral skirt and the audio was saying, "Who says only girls can wear skirts? One teen's fight to change his school's dress code tonight at 10."
That's what I don't get. You wear that to be seen and attract people, but for the most part it ends up getting the wrong message. I figure if guys wanna see that, they have two options 1) get a girlfriend (or friend with benefits) who's willing to dress that way for you or 2) pay for it. |

Yeah. Well I'm not really like that myself I guess. Girls that dress like that, just make me look at them and not take them all that seriously, and they're just not that attractive to me, because I'm too busy trying to understand "Why" they'd dress like that.
A lot of times I'll be attracted to a girl who could simply be wearing a shirt a jeans. |

When I was in high school, I was constantly surrounded by these girls that would wear the most skimpy little things and then bitch when guys hit on them. One time when I happened to be sitting in the library's computer lab and these girls come in and sit down, wearing the stupidest, yet most slutty-looking things. After about 15 minutes of listening to them rave about how much they hate guys talking to them like they're whores trying to sell something, I just turned and shouted, "Well you're certainly wearing the uniform." Honestly, yes, there should be a sense of freedom to wear whatever you want, but if you're going to dress like that what do you expect from the majority of people? You made a conscious decison to wear what you did, now take it. |

Anyways, today at lunch I noticed a girl at one of the higher chairs wearing a pretty small mini-skirt, and these huge big snow-like boots. W h a t T h e H e l l I mean we all know I'm a big fan for the female figurine ... but seriously, I just couldn't help but laugh. It wasn't the first time I've seen this though. I remember jokes about this years ago, girls dressed like this would get the title of "Ho in the snow". It just looks ridiculous. ... NO offense if some of you dress like that, but eh ...  |
