I believe I've only mailed a few letters out in my lifetime, and nothing really recent either. I use good old e-mail to get my "mailing services" done. But just be grateful that we're not anywhere close to the $1 mark yet. At the rate stamp prices are going up, I don't foresee that happening in any of our lifetimes. |

I usually overprice my letters anyways. I cant exactly keep track of how much letters cost to be sent out so I put two stamps on the cover of the letter anyway...though its not a good money saver....=.=;;; Ive already wasted well over 5$ in my lifetime on stamps...I have too many friends I have to keep track of...

Yeah, there wasn't a grace period. If it doesn't have the $0.39 or more, they'll return the letter, if there's a return address marked, of course.
If you're laxy, you could double up, but $0.78 to mail a standard letter can get steep. |

Originally posted by Xeo Boy do I feel sorry for you. at my work it's $.75 for a bottle of soda. But unfortunetly they took the machine out for some reason, . I think it was because the fumigated the place or something or other, I dont know.lol But the stamps are just like anything else, they will keep getting more and more expensive as year's go by. And probobly because regular mail is becoming more and more obsoleet as time goes on. We have E-mail and Fax now. So why wait so long to get something when you can send or recieve with just a touch of a button. |

Actully the .37 cents stamps won't be useless. You will just need to buy a .02 cent to go along with it. |

What's worse?
Today Pepsi, or whoever brings in cola's for our pop machine at work changed the price from $1.00, to $1.25. Ridiculous. |

I've been hearing this all over the news for the past few days...it kinda sucks actually. I mean some could look at it and say "It's only two cents." But at the same time, it's the little things that are the killers. I mean think about it...$0.74 if you wanted 2 stamps...I need 2 stamps for each high school transfer I have sent out...and each transfer is 3 bucks...crap adds up. |

Yeah, found that out the hard way since my job uses snail mail a lot ot send out invoices. My boss wasn't too happy and neither am I for that matter, but what can you do. |

Starting today, it's $0.39 to mail that card or whatever it is you actually use snail mail for any more, rendering those $0.37 stamps you bought last week USELESS.
