Thats what alot of people said saying the same thing about David Pelzer in his book "A Child Called 'It'". It too made a pelzer award and a part of Oprah's book club...They were saying "Was he making it up?" as well as what was mentioned "He was exagerating..."
I guess alot of people in her club dont really believe in the Authors... Oh and no I havent read that book, but its now on my list...I love internet shopping |

Good find. I was not aware. I don't really get it though, they're sasying he exagerated? So what? I found it kind of odd that he put out a second book. I still love the book. Even if it didn't really happen to him. |

Well it's about this guy who is on an airplan and he is beaten to shit. He has blood all over him..he's missing his teeth all that jazz. Well it turns out his parents have checked him into rehab and he's going back to his home town to recover. It basically goes through his whole process. I'm pretty sure it's a semi-true story. |
