Recently, my plans have been really changed.

I turn 18 before I graduate highschool. SO there is a sixth month grace period where I'm going to transfer highschools..and move out of state. I'll finish up highschool and probably go to a community college. It's going ot create a lot of drama with my family, but oh well.

Okay, I know this may be a bit of a bump...but hey...this is an interesting topic.

My college plans? Well first my career plans. Writing...I like it and I plan on keeping it as a hobby and I just may publish something when I have the guts to let people see my writing. However, the only way I can see myself having a career out of it is if I just get lucky and something I write hits it big...or...if it has something to do with the film industry. I want to do something with movies, that I'm certain of. My dream is to become like my idols Steven Speilberg and George Lucas, and Peter Jackson is making his way up there as an idol of mine. Film is something I've always been truely passionate about. That still doesn't narrow things down though. I like creating special effects, I like writing scripts, I like directing, producing, hell, I've often considered being a stunt double! Or maybe dosomething with the musical scores of films. **shrugs** There's so many other things I could get into. So yeah, that's my main goal.

Then there's art, writing, astronomy, and music...my other interests and possible fall-backs. However, like I said before, those will always be my hobbies and if I go career with them, it's most-likely because I just got lucky doing somethig I enjoyed doing with my free time.

Now, college. I just checked, double, and even tripple checked my sources and I'm fairly positive that I just recieved a $100,000.00 scholarship...on top of the stuff I've accumulated through other grants. I'm too scared to get excited about that because there's still a slight chance it all can fall through, and my luck sucks that way. At the same time, no I'm not bragging, but I've worked too hard to deny myself excitement over this scholarship if I do recieve it. So no, I'm not going to say "Oh, school is a piece of cake." Cuz lemme tell you...it's not. :p

So yeah. Things are still up in the air as far as MY final decision is concerned, but even without the scholarship, I'm pretty set for college.

Freshmen should really get the kick. Get a head start on what you need to do. Take the PSATs with your ten dollars or what ever it is.

Me, I'm going into the Air Force. =P I want to be a hurricane hunter, so I'm going to go play around in the area of Meteorology. it's been a dream of mine for like the longest time. After that I plan on getting a job over in The Weather Channel in Atlanta of California as a hurricane specialist/ meteorologist.

I'm not positive that I am going to college, but eventually I will. If I go then I would study for graphics designer/animation at Lake Washington Technical College. The program is a one year certificate not a degree.

Well, I graduated last year... and I started going to a photography school, then figured out after meeting a few photographers who are world famous and they DIDN'T go to school for it... that paying $30,000 every 8 months for 3 years isn't worth paying, if I can teach all of this stuff to myself, ya know? So, I am going with a self-teaching route... while working a full time job to pay back the $15,000 that I have in loans (even though I was only in school for 2 1/2 months).

All I need to go here is have a high school diploma or a GED equivalent. You pay for invidiual courses and you can enter the college anytime of the year I choose.

I'm going to be a writer, and I'll be famous, and they'll make movies of my books.

Er, but before that, I'm going to luck out somehow and get a scholorship. For doing nothing. Cause you know what? I'm lucky like that.

Of course, I'll work a bit... a bit... in school. I'm doing better now, and I'm only a sophomore - by the end of this quarter my shit will be entirely together.

I'm only a freshman too but I'm starting a program next year in school for what I want to do plus I've already started something else. I'm going into a Criminal Justice program for college prep. Then I'm gonna go to some college that teaches law, and hopefully make it into Harvard. Then become a lawyer and make a lot of money and live the rest of my life in happiness. There are somethings I wouldn't mind accomplishing but they aren't the most important things in my life.

I know I'm only a freshman, but all I really want to do is write. I mean, I tried thinking of everyother career, and only as a writer do I find my proper outlet. I know, everyone and their uncle on this board plan on being a writer, but I'm not copying anyone. I follow my own path, and no one is going to control me.

Oh, I plan on traveling the country, mainly on foot, writing stories as I go to finance myself. Wandering is my dream job, but being a writer will enable that.

I'm still really unsure about my future, because i can see myself excelling in a lot of areas. Starting next year, I'll be taking a legal and law class, and I'd like to take similar courses in the next two years because I hope to major in the Correction division of criminal justice. My dilemma inlies with whether I continue writing because several of my english teachers said I'm "Writing Scholarship Material." My last and final option would be to get a scholarship to a division 2 college playing NCAA basketball, but I'm too lazy to go that route.

Well Xeogaming Seniors, its close to time to start planning for what you need to do for the future. This is also the most stressful time of the year, your excited about getting your ACT/ HSGT tests back to see if you are well qualified for that scholorship you need for college...

My simple question for everybody is what is everyone doing after high School? Are you interested into going to college? If so which one? What Field? And how long are you planning on staying there?

I have already received a school scholorship for graduating High school early, after christmas vacation I have at least a month left of school to go...

Im planning on going to UTI in Orlando FL to study 3D Rendering and Design, and im studying under the field of creative writing.(it will take me well over 8 years of study to accomplish...) I want to be a gaming desiginer as well as a Writer...because alot of people have read my stories and gave me good reviews over it, most of them were even published in the Atlanta journal!

So everyone, whats your idea?
